Hello Dr. T!

I am a 22 year old pre-everything transbloke who sincerely hopes that hormone therapy is in my future. I also have polycystic ovarian syndrome, which I've been treating for a few years with birth control. (Not the most ideal solution, but I didn't know what else to do.) Do you know if it is possible for someone in my position to begin taking T?

Will I automatically get ovarian or uterine cancer? The prospect of needing an extremely invasive surgery before I can even take hormones is extremely discouraging, especially since I have been holding out hope of retaining my fertility options. What would you advise me to do?
