Dean Genth of Mason City helped post bail for five young gay rights activists who were arrested Thursday when they attempted to attend a chapel service.

The group was at Oklahoma Baptist University as part of the Soulforce Equality Ride, a nationwide journey of 50 young adults visiting conservative Christian colleges to challenge policies against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students.

Genth is a mentor and facilitator for the eastbound bus on the eight-week ride which began last week.
