Baltimore County's controversial Transgender Bill isn't just a safety, privacy, and small business issue; it's an education issue too.

Recently, I read an article on a push by the National Education Association (NEA) to substitute biological gender with "gender identity" (or perceived gender) in the nation's schools.  Please read the article here; it's important to this discussion.  I then read that California (O'Malley's mentor) is currently considering exactly such a bill.  See recommendations made on the issue by California's Transgender Law Center here; it's an eye opener especially towards the end.
