Here's one from my friend, Fred Derf.
Dammit I'm mad.
I don't know any good palindromes but I enjoyed "I Palindrome I" by They Might Be Giants. Very clever song with palindromes as a theme. Palindromes in many different forms.

I was somewhat obsessed with palindromes for a time (and still tend to read things both ways...) after my son brought home some illustrated books on them from the school library.
My favorite showed a gleeful scientist running through a lab of (dynamos?) machinery... his hands in the air, shouting "So many dynamos!"
I never understood why "palindrome" wasn't one...
Hey! Order in the court! You need to take that issue and go start a "conundrum" thread!
This from this dyslexic from my earlier years: Was it that as I saw? I saw that as it was.

Murder for a jar of red rum.
there's always
Quote"To I, Lester"
A cotton eve,
O, trap! Eden!
O, television sad as night.
I wonder if senile sirs tell war days,
Words selfless, drowsy...
A drawl lets rise lines fired
[No!]
With gin:
Sad as "no" is,
I've let one depart.
O, eve--
Not to care...
--T. S. Eliot
Good one, Alexis! I had to google the poem to find it. :)

This should be brand new:
Trans is 'n art.
And here's a new one for the sign board at the transgender arrivals and departures:
ETA gender:Red. NE Gate.
And here's a see through new one for my friend Gilbert who crossdresses:
See Gil gender: red negligees.
Oh, did you see the recent headlines about the transgender woodwind player who dropped her instrument during the concert and hurt herself because her overly feminine dress snagged on the music stand?
Too Female, Oboe: Lame Foot.
OK, I have to stop creating these; it is irresponsible to release unsocialized palindromes into the wild. Just one more.
Did you read the abstract on the article about cross gender hormone therapy? It was a brief one:
FTM: E 2 T;
T 2 E: MTF.
Don't worry, Madeline, once the fever dies down, you'll be fine! Hugs, Devlyn
This isn't mine but maybe you could expand in this direction
You can cage a swallow, can't you, but you can't swallow a cage, can you?
I can only assume that Devlyn wants me to revive the palindrome thread by pointing out that my new name is a palindrome! But I'll also include Demitri Martin's 224 word palindrome poem:
"Dammit I'm Mad" by Demetri Martin
Dammit I'm mad.
Evil is a deed as I live.
God, am I reviled? I rise, my bed on a sun, I melt.
To be not one man emanating is sad. I piss.
Alas, it is so late. Who stops to help?
Man, it is hot. I'm in it. I tell.
I am not a devil. I level "Mad Dog".
Ah, say burning is, as a deified gulp,
In my halo of a mired rum tin.
I erase many men. Oh, to be man, a sin.
Is evil in a clam? In a trap?
No. It is open. On it I was stuck.
Rats peed on hope. Elsewhere dips a web.
Be still if I fill its ebb.
Ew, a spider... eh?
We sleep. Oh no!
Deep, stark cuts saw it in one position.
Part animal, can I live? Sin is a name.
Both, one... my names are in it.
Murder? I'm a fool.
A hymn I plug, deified as a sign in ruby ash,
A Goddam level I lived at.
On mail let it in. I'm it.
Oh, sit in ample hot spots. Oh wet!
A loss it is alas (sip). I'd assign it a name.
Name not one bottle minus an ode by me:
"Sir, I deliver. I'm a dog"
Evil is a deed as I live.
Dammit I'm mad.
Dammit, Anna, I was going to put up the same poem!
Doc Note: I dissent. A fast never prevents a fatness. I diet on cod
Gods dog.
A debate on the Reagan legacy (ok its not good, but I did make it up):
Gipper=Rep. pig!
On Gipper: Rep. pig? No.
Did live, RR; evil did!
Lived, was never one, nor even saw, devil.
H.U.D.; duh!
Kook!
