at the fish hatchery, where I've been working the past few weeks, they're bringing in the automatic trailer and most of us lost our jobs. thats horrible. I was hired through June. they should still pay me (he he he.)
now i have to spend another two months finding a job and I was just about to go to the local mental health clinic this weekend. GRRRRRRRR!
Now that's a big bummer! I hope that you find something soon.

I am so sorry Michael. Could you collect UI? that can help a bit while you find another job. :)

Oh Micheal, I'm so sorry to hear that. Odds are there are other better jobs out there too. Of course the trick is to find them.

So sorry to hear that, Michael. I know how important that job was to you. I hope your next job (which I'm confident will come soon) will leave you smelling a bit better than this one.

Man, that is so lame. Why did they even hire you if they were just going to lay you off a few weeks later?
they said i was going to be a 4 month thing but the trailer wound up coming earlier than expected. this time im going to bug the heck out of the local Safeway by applying every other day and i hope i get the job. I might also check out the kelly services website later in the morning to see if there are any temp jobs that are local and are hiring.
I was just about to pick the speed sense i was getting use to which fins I have to clip and how to hold the sliming fish.
I'm sorry to hear you losing your job. That can be a bummer especially if they hired you on then lay you off. I've been out of a job now for almost a year collected unemployement but even that has run out. I'm still looking. Good luck on your job search. There's better jobs out there.

Love being female
I'm sorry about that. Hopefully you can find a job that is even more fun. One of the most fun jobs I ever had was through this temp service where I drove brand new cars around a parking lot all day in order to get them prepped to ship to dealers. The funny thing about that one was I had to get a ride there because I had been in an accident about a month earlier and my car was still wrecked.

I didn't realize how much better I feel now after I worked at a job of nothing but women as coworkers right next to me and how much I know for sure that I was meant to a girl.
On my second week, I felt so comfortable around them that they ask me if I was shy at first and if I was gay. I told them yes to the first question and no to the second. I ask them way they thought I was gay. They told me that I sound very feminine and if it wasn't my name, the hair on my body, the 2:30 pm shadow, and my raspy voice, that they would have mistaken me as a late bloomer.
