Hi,
I live in Surrey, British Columbia, which is a suburb of Vancouver.
I've been secretly cross dressing ever since I was nearly an adult. My favourite thing to wear are shiny leotards, but I am afraid to wear anything in public. I like how they feel on my body. I like to wear other things too and I am curious about wearing some things as well.
As a kid, I've always been curious what it was like to wear some things, like many one piece garments and corsets or girdles, some lingerie and body stockings and high heels, etc...
Although I can't really relate to many woman, I am sexually attracted to them, and not guys.
Whenever I see a woman that looks hot, I feel like I want to wear what they are wearing, or even wish I were them.
Some reasons I like to cross dress is because the woman's clothing department has more selection of colours and styles. Men's clothing is just way too boring. Everything is plain and dark coloured and only available in one style. It's like a rainbow in the woman's wear department while a dark gloomy thunder cloud hovers over the men's wear to me. I also feel like I want to be pretty like most girls, and don't feel pretty as a guy.
Hi Spandex,
A warm Aussie welcome to Susan's. I'm sure you will like it here, as there are many here that can relate to how you feel. In fact, my first foray in public was one very hot summer night when I was in my teens. I needed petrol for the following day. I was dressed in a pair of hot pink spandex nickers and T-shirt. So I took off without a care and filled up with petrol. On the way to the cashier I was whistled at by some boys filling up as well. My heart skipped a beat, but it felt soooo good.
These were the pre TG days, when you were either homosexual or a TV. My, we have come a long way since then. So yes I can appreciate what you are going through at the moment.
Don't be surprised or afraid where this journey takes you. Relax, enjoy and embrace each moment. You're safe here to discuss your feelings. Hope to hear more about you in time to come. In the meantime, be safe, well and happy
Lotsa Huggs
Catherine
Hi SpandexQueen, it's nice to meet you! Catherine getting whistled at is hardly news, it happens all the time! We're glad you found us, see you around the site. Hugs, Devlyn
Hi Spandex and welcome to Susan's. I experinced similar feelings. When I went out in public for the first time, there was no turning back. I was being myself. Feeling pretty on the inside does wonders for one's confidence.
:)
Welcome SpandexQueen,you can't find a better place to be.Hugs,Rachael.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for the welcome :)
Hi and welcome from the other end of the world. Women's fashions are definitely far more interesting than the blokes. The current trend here is for lots of thin layers, one advantage of Tasmania's milder summers. Scarves and sandals are big too. Have fun!
Karen.
