Title: Nipple Rings (MtF)
Post by: Jamie D on February 09, 2012, 04:12:14 AM
Those familiar with nipple piercings know that they are done differently for males (generally through the areola and behind the nipple) than for females (through the nipple itself).

It is my understanding that the typical male nipple is too small for the female-type of piercing, as the small gauge ring (or bar) tends to migrate.

How large does the developing MtF "trans-nipple" have to be to accommodate normal female jewelry?  Is there a concern with continued development after being pierced?  Has anyone had any experience with nipple shields?

THANK YOU FOR CREATING THISSSS.
lol.

I was eventually going to ask this since five of my friends want me to get my nips pierced with them.
So I was scared if I got it done my tata's would suddenly get a growth spurt and i ruin the piercing lol.

I still have 6 months til then so I might get most of my boob growth by then lawl.

Average grown up female nipple size be about 4mm diameter.
In my case - now looking at it, they are about that - BUT they do not project anywhere near as much 3 to 4mm, and that I guess be a problem.
Too little flesh in front of the piercing then.

Since I'm quite sensitive – still, after 1 1/2 years HRT, to now put a piercing... no THANK YOU!!!

YMMV... oh yes!
There is good pain and bad pain and THAT be bad pain,

Karen,

We might have to get some Kevlar shields put in your bra.   ;D   I know the feeling well, having impaled mine upon the car door, on no less than 3 occasions. Some of us are just slow.

Be safe, well and happy.

I had my nipples pierced whilst still a male - they did  mine through the nipple, about halfway down.  My nipples developed with my breasts and all was fine.
Nip-rings are not all the same thickness, though the ones I was given were quite thick.

- of course, the person to ask is the piercer at the salon of your choice

Great thread! I definitely am considering getting mine pierced as well, but i just started hormones and have been having nipple growth already so I decided to wait.

Hah! Know what you mean.
Either stick to heals or flats, what ever keeps your 'girls' in a saver position.
I only done it ONCE - that was PLENTY enough. Ouch! And no crates or boxes in front of the chest either. No thank you!
Adding nipple rings.........??? Maybe rather down-stairs, it's a bit less exposed... or?

You can enlarge your nipples, both in diameter and length, with Supple nipps from https://www.nipplefunwear.com/index.php (https://www.nipplefunwear.com/index.php)

You need to use them consistently over a relatively long period of time (several months to a year or more) depending on how long or thick you wish them to be. They get to the point where they totally stick out like it's below freezing no matter what the weather is like! Do be careful what you wish for, after a while, the enlargement is very permanent!

Cheers.

Frequent or overuse of nipple clamps will also cause male nipples to enlarge - and also might well cause a loss of sensitivity   :(
(- personal experience so don't post back saying that never happens ;))

Whoa!  Those look like fun.  But aren't they also a choking hazard!?
