I've read lots of articles regarding the differences between "styles" of bottom surgery, but I've never got a chance to talk to anyone who had any of them done. What kind of bottom surgery did you have and was it worth it? How was the experience? Would you recommend it to someone or recommend otherwise?
I've also heard that getting a hysterectomy causes long-term health problems because the rest of your organs shift around to fill up the empty space left behind. Is this true?
I had a full meta with urethral hookup. Yes, it's small, but fully sensate and works great. Thrilled with it despite its size. Recovery was long but not really painful. Only minor complications that cleared up without any additional surgery or procedures.

ChesireBat, I have also heard that many or most cis women and ftm who have complete hyster donot have any problems with the other organs in their pelvic area. I think it depends on the surgeon and how the surgery is done.
@sneakersjay - How long was your recovery? What were some of the steps of recovery?
Full recovery was 8 weeks, though still a bit sore in certain sitting situations. I had delayed healing of part of my incision which took a full 4 months. This surgery will take a lot more out of you than hysto or top surgery. Some guys get the hysto done at the same time. Hysto took me about a month (mostly lifting).

Thanks much!

Thank you Arch.
No problem. I was surprised at how hard it was to find. :P
