Title: Connecting issues
Post by: Anne on February 24, 2012, 05:46:46 PM
For about a week now I have not been able to use the susans.org website because I always end up getting this error:

When I asked around in the chat it didn't seem like others really had that issue but it's been going on for quite a while now. The only way I'm able to visit/write here is to use a random proxy.
Is this a known issue or something else? I have tried other browsers, another computer and the numerical ip with no success.

+The chat has also been down for me for days. It's usually up in a much shorter time if it goes down so is that just me as well?

I get the ' server is under high stress please try later' at certain times of day.

I got the same error message Anne, just relieved I wasn't alone and thankfully no virus.

It's a known issue, and system upgrades are being looked into.

The 'problem' is that Susan's Place membership is growing at a rapid pace.

What a nice problem to have.  :-)

Robyn, over in the Arrrrgh forum, there is a thread about "Susan's on the Fritze."  In that thread there are several posters, including myself, you have made suggestions about fund-raising to help finance new servers and bandwidth.

I don't know if any of those ideas have been taken seriously.
