thought i'd make a poll for those more private about what they do and so we can get the info in number form so it's easier to see what the majority does.

added an extra option for those who only stand when the circumstances are right.

You should probably put an option for both because there are times when I sit/stand depending on the circumstance.

I rarely use the men's bathroom because I'm not seen as male yet, but since I hate using STPs I would wager that I will always pee sitting.

I am still not comfortable enough with my stp to use it in apublic restroom, afraid I would leak and get my jeans wet.

I always sit.  Standing up to pee was never really a goal for me.

I use it rarely but I sit.

I don't bring an stp when I go out, so I just sit.

So from our tiny focus group the numbers put it at 1/3 of guys who use the men's (not caring who else is there) stand while 2/3 sit. I really want to get an stp that I can use in stalls. I want my feet to face the toilet..

normally I sit unless I am felling buzy or the toilet is dirty.

I wish many other men would do the same, specially my dad, he always miss..

I sit.  It's a hassle for me to carry around an stp device.

I'm really glad that there are a lot of other guys who sit too. For some reason I thought that there wouldn't be many of us.

For now I sit in public. Still trying to get my STP down at home. I worry a lot about it leaking and getting pee all over myself. Even when I get good, I dunno if I'll use a urinal. But standing to pee is pretty awesome!!

I'm surprised by the high number of 'sitters' too. It definitely makes me feel better about it but I am excited to try standing. I've tried the medicine spoon and got an stp-fitz forever ago but all attempts failed. Also the toilets I use are becoming more and more frequently saturated with urine.

I'm still learning to use my STP with clothes on, so for now I sit. Once I master it, I intend to use it in public, but sit at home. Screw it, it's my damn home. I can be lazy if I want :'P.

I sit, I know how to STP but i dont like to have too much bulk in my pockets

if I know I am going to be at a possibly gross toilet, and I have cargo pants with pockets I may bring my stp and stand in a stall

I would like to try standing, but I find sitting more comfortable for now.

Unfortunatly I don't have the courage to stand unless im at home.

I only stand when it comes to gross public toilets (in stalls) or if there's no toilet around (ex. outdoors or camping).

I really want to be able to use urinals eventually. So I sit now, and at some point I'll get around to putting more work into being able to STP without making a mess.

I stand most of the time. I don't like having to sit. I'll sit when I feel like it or if I'm feeling lazy but I don't want it to be my default. I currently use a modified medicine spoon STP at urinals and I'm just learning to pee standing up without it in cubicles.

I just want to throw out some words of encouragement on this thread, to all you wanna-be standers out there! STP is something that takes a LOT of practice, but don't don't don't give up! You can do it!!!

Hang in there, you WILL stop pissing on yourself, it takes a long time but Oh, So Worth It!!!  ;)

I stand. I don't like sitting in public bathrooms.

Last night I encountered some restrooms marked "Sitting" and "Standing." I went into Standing and sat. Cuz I'm a rebel. 8)

Thank you Felix, that made my day xD

Anyway, the times that I am using the mens restroom (when I'm not at school) I sit most of the time, just because I don't have my STP on me and/or it's too much of a hassle to get it out. I carry my Whiz Freedom in a black pouch with zipper in my backpocket. By the time I unzipped the pouch, pants and everything I always figure I might as well just've sat down.

When I'm out and about though (woods and such) I gladly use the STP. (no more crouching and trying to hide your white bum behind a bush!)
