Post by: Jennifer.L on February 26, 2012, 01:40:41 PM
So like, post op, whats it like whats it like the first time you can put on panties and they fit right.  You know?  I kind of, well I like to imagine wearing a thong.  But ya I can't yet :(

I made a tongue in cheek post elsewhere (http://forum.transgenderzone.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2605#p27629) about post-op, this is the paragraph about thongs

Once I had the routine down pat and was finally getting to wear nice lingerie I bought a couple of thongs.
Whilst you have man-junk there are lots of styles of pantie that simply will not work - French knickers, G-strings and thongs all have nothing to restrain your .....enthusiasm.
Wearing a thong for the first time is a strange experience.
There's about the same amount of material overall as there is in a pirates eye-patch and it needs arranging with similar precision. If you're wearing stockings and a skirt you feel every breath of wind, every draft and as someone who is usually in cotton granny knickers and 40 denier tights, I felt acutely exposed and vulnerable walking down the street.
Weirdest thing though is the snugness and having that thin strip of fabric jammed into your ass-crack.
After decades in Y-fronts, it just feels wrong and I spent the next few hours resisting the urge to fiddle with it because it feels as though it's a crease in your underpants that has got stuck.

It's been a struggle to get here, but it was worth it for the response when I stepped out of my skirt.
It's a pity that I didn't have longer to enjoy it because winter has arrived and for the next three months it's sod the glamour, bring on the granny knickers and the thick wooly tights!

Oh steffi,
Such a lovely post. You're just going to have to move to a warmer climate.
The Aussie Mafia are taking applications for immigration to the lovely warm land of Oz.
Please see Cindy for further details. She's the GodMother.
Current temp in Adelaide is a cool 23 degrees, and no rain. It never snows either.

Be safe, well and happy
Lotsa huggs
Catherine

I dunno - I'm post-orchie, haven't tried my thongs on yet, but I wore thongs prior to orchie just fine.  The berries of my twig and berries had shrunk to the point that they were riding up into my abdominal cavity even when I was naked.  So, I have to say, they fit just right for me.  YMMV, of course. :)

I wore G-Strings and Thongs while Pre-OP.

BUT!! It feels 100 percent better now post-op, to just buy a pair of panties and tight jeans and pull your panties up and NOT have to tuck anything and have a smooth surface it feels AMAZING.  Wearing tight jeans and panties is 100 percent better Post-op then pre-op but YMMV but others will say they wore em pre-op but trust me it's A LOT BETTER POST-OP.

i wear thongs all the time, pre-op i did sometimes when i was in the mood.  it fits 100% beter now. dont need to worry about all the "things" anymore. its real smooth and feels natural. the only thing is there are just not good enough pads for thongs. especially for the nights it goes all sorts of ways or isnt sticky anymore.

and well my job is that i report to the management directly so i need to wear high heels, tights and a skirt. wearing thongs is kind of necessary @ work because of the skirt. and wel men like it :P

For me I can honestly say it was the highlight.

I mean at first everything is all swollen and to some it can feel like you are tucked. But that first time I slid on those nickers, and looked in the mirror, and it hugged me in the right way, it was perfect. A year on I still stop and stare at myself in the mirror wearing my nickers. Not quite believing it had not always been so right, so perfect.

Thinking about it makes me want to cry.  You know I know it will be happy cry.  but right now it like god, jsut that, being able to look in the mirror like that would be worth everything.

first time i looked in to the mirror i was like o my.... it felt perfect. i think your going to experience the same things :P

it was also a relief for me that the first few months post op where over, not to worry about healing anymore (much)... finally could wear nice thongs. and also a big thing, that my colleagues didnt see anymore what i was wearing. especially when i was wearing tight skirts ( almost everyday )

I am  pre-op and I have wear thongs... Pre-op girls are limited to what they can wear... I buy stuff with lots of material in front.. so i can still tuck..

I love sexy underwear.. but I can wear it yet :-(

I don't want to be a dissenting voice but I don't enjoy wearing thongs as much as I use to, maybe its my age, I use to enjoy wearing them shortly after my transition, a great feeling finally being a woman, but theres a lot to be said for comfortable cotton knickers, I do still wear nice pretty thongs & butterfly thongs but not for comfort, purely to please the man in my life who seems to enjoy looking at that strip of frilly material cutting into my big butt, on our wedding day he wanted me to wear a thong under my wedding dress, we compromised and I wore delicate dainty silk knickers instead.
I find thongs can be uncomfortable and irritating if they get ''twisted'' a guy can fiddle and fix, but not a woman, its ''unladylike''
What is it about men and thongs, last night I thought I was having a private night at home so decided to do some laundry, some of Hubby's shirts, and my own laundry, a few skirts, dresses, tops and serveral pairs of knickers mostly thongs, I arranged them to dry on the clothes rack about 4pairs of panties, 6 pairs of butterfly thongs when Hubby and 2 of his friends arrived back unexpected with no warning. They stayed for about an hour, but I notice them staring at my thongs and knickers on the clothes rack, they where smirking and giggling at each other, I was mortified and embarrassed, thongs seem to light the passion in a guys eyes, nice to please my man, but give me nice warm comfortable cotton knickers anyday with panty liners to keep me dry, much more practical.
