it's not just religious people who kills trans. Some use religion as a crutch to hide behind scriptures to kill but honestly, it's a person bigoted passions and their sense of not knowing the person or the issue that fuels the crime.

Ignorance can breed hatred and hatred can breed violence.

you really have to leave as soon as posible.
But I know, you want to change it as well its very hard doing political work for transgenders to change it, and as more ignorant risky
your put as harder it is.

maybe you could put the topic op in some of those votting sites, where you can coint prescritions together from all over the world, if theres enough presure from outside it can be more easy to change whats inside.
however, I dont know how safe or unsare your currently, and its always alot harder/more risky to be try make these changes, and it demand you sacrifice alot of yourself, in worst place your safety.

you might have to wait for those if you dont feel safe enough to do it right now.

I hate to say it but the possibility of being attacked as a trans person are high. Higher for trans women than men, and higher for trans women of color. It's horrible and happens everywhere.

Yes, of course, but that is something you have to ask yourself if you are willing to risk.

To the OP, I'm sorry that you are in a country where being LGBT is very risky, and sometimes deadly, but please don't make posts that contain images of the abused/deceased (this isn't the first time you've done it).  It's not necessary in order to facilitate a discussion of the crimes against trans people.

I will say yet and no, cause I did agree to take that risk when I where 12, however even if I agreed to it the risk of me getting killed is very small here compared to other country's.

the risk are diffrent in every area.
of corse this crimes are put to place everywhere yet theres place where your can be way more safe and theated way better than others.

One of my Mtf friends who currently living in my country, are half imigrant. a lot of her famely from her home country are members she cant visit anymore, simply because the risk is too high for her being abused or killed if she go there.
theres also risk for her in my country that she would be abused or even killed for being transgender, but the risk are just SOO much bigger where her famely is.

so yes, maybe its a risk to take, but some of "us" are way more easy to be killed than other.
