Thought I'd turn to susans for this question.
I do not want srs, i am quite ok with my genitals, as a matter of fact I want them to function healthfully and well.
But-- will I have to get one eventually? I am on hormones
and I have noticed my genitals are being affected, and i'm nervous about it.
I find it's starting to hurt when I orgasm. This happened only once, but I havent been interested
in masturbating since then.
Ofcourse it wasn't like OMG PAIN, but it hurt.
So uh, just curious if anyone else has experienced that also?
I'll consult my dr about this to but i wanted the opinions of other trans women as well.
Thankyou
aeron
That happens to me as well.
I still function properly and easily.
I'd say you probably have to masturbate to maintain good function.
I wouldn't know though. :)
Woo! Pennies!
I don't see why you'd NEED to get one. And I've never experienced this pain you speak of. Maybe it's something totally separate.
This is a very good question! I too don't find the need to get rid of my genitals as of right now! Hopefully someone with the right knowledge can answer this question for us! :)
I'm gonna get an orchiectomy ... if only for the reason that I can stop taking the spiro. I have been feeling really tired a lot, hopefully an orchie will help that out as I get off the spiro.
I've never heard of anyone having to get an orchi over a painful orgasm due to hormones. I remember the last couple of orgasms that I had hurt but it was also forced, you know the old gotta clear the head release. Yuk!!! and Ewww!!! Your nuts will probably lose about a third of there mass and keeping a hard on will require more thought or something (cock ring) maybe. Go see your doctor.
As much as it would be nice in terms of getting insurance to cover it, that (little problem) is not something that orchi is indicated for (treatment wise).
