Title: What's your opinon on Paula Young wigs?
Post by: Alyx. on March 19, 2012, 02:38:04 PM
My friend Erin reccomended me to go there. Are they good quality? Do they look like real hair?

I'm thinking about getting this one in dark brown. :D

They look ok-ish...but if you want quality (meaning you want it to look like real hair) your gonna have to pay top dollar.

I'd say go to a salon and get some recommendations first.  :P

I'm wearing one in my avatar, it was $55. It's beginners hair, a custom made human hair wig can cost a ton, but they look great. I had a really fun email exchange with Paula, she's great! Hope this helps, hugs, Devlyn

Human hair lace wigs are what you want.  You can have them styled permed and highlighted at the Salon which is in itslef a blast.  For 15 years I bought synthetic wigs and donated all of them about 5 years ago.  I now have 5 Human hair wigs and wish I had bought them from the beginning.

Mckenzie had it right they are "beginner" or starter wigs.  Nothing wrong going that rout but the sooner you upgrade to a real human wig the better.

Your wig is the number one factor in passing IMHO.
