who are the most affordable doctors?
I am afraid none; you get what you pay. If it was my face, I would not short change myself.
Dr Cardenas mexico city. not sre how to contact him but google will help. He has done many and mexico city makes cost very low.
A lot of the cost of FFS depends on the extent you feel needs to be done. I just had my nose done, which made a huge diff in my appearance and it was under 5K. I know some people need "the works" but I personally feel a lot of people can get good results with a lot less.

I saw him mention on this forum before. I am pretty sure he's going to be my doctor to get "the works". He looks pretty handsome on the pic too.
I also need to get my teeth fix, so maybe there's good dentists down there.

holy crap tristan ,is that you ???
Haha yeah it is. The swelling still needs to go down. My face should change a lot more over the next six month's. This pick was at 3 weeks I think. Yeah he is great. I walked in the office and he was in the same chair sitting the same way as in the pictures. Angelface did I meet you down their? I know I still look kinda swollen and bad.
you look awesome Tristan, love the work he did.
I'm sorry to say that he got mad at me when I showed him computerized pictures of what I wanted my face to look like, I know it was extreme but it was just to give him an idea of what I wanted which is an agressive surgery. He said that him and I don't see feminization the same way. I was surprised. It might be a fantasy wanting my face to look a certain way, but I'm the one paying. Again I was surprised by his reaction
I guess I'm out of luck with him. Hopefully he will reconsider.
Wow! Tristan, your new photo looks great!

I totally disagree, the price has nothing to do with the quality of services. The price only means that the surgeon is not afraid to overcharge his patients.

I believe that it is very wise for a surgeon to refuse a patient with unrealistic expectations. You must have realistic expectations from the surgery in order to be happy with the results.

True. Many girls get too much work done and they already look feminine.
For sure. However, you have to realize the therapeutic effect of FFS, too.. sometimes "too much done" was just enough to make a person comfortable with themselves. It isn't always about just looking more feminine - it can also be about just looking different from how you were before.
I'm looking at FFS... but I'm unsure what I'll end up getting. Some people say not to get FFS, but it's on my list of things to do anyhow. Sure, I look cis enough... but looking extraordinarily pretty beats looking average.

This^
I probably don't need FFS but i'm getting it anyway, i'm focusing on my face and voice as those are the two biggest gender indicators. People look at your face before anything else.
I don't wanna over do it though, i'm looking for a more natural conservative look.
I have had an awful time trying to get information from Dr Cardenas. He was my original pic for my ffs, but over a month has gone by, and I still have not received a quote. Another doctor from his office was communicating with me, but only general information. I kept getting the "I'm not sure why no one has gotten back with you with a quote" emails. Sorry, but attention to detail has to be high on my list while dealing with the face. I've seen his work, but the communication, at least for me, has been awful.
As far as pricing goes, you have to remember the exchange rate as well.. in some countries, like Peru, where it looks like I'm going (Femilife), the US dollar is about two and a half times more than local currency. So their rate is the same for their country as it is for ours, it just costs less in American dollars. It's all relative. ;D
Go to Transop.com and email Tyler or Call the number from that site. Tyler is a agent for Cardenas and he will be very prompt to get back to you with all the info.
I had trouble getting through directly to the Cardenas office and then he picked up the phone and gave me all the info fast.

Very, very true! There are excellent FFS surgeons out there who charge a fractionof what selfproclaimed FFS 'gods' charge.

I have just recieved (a MONTH later) an email from Gisela and it is still not only without a quote, but she didn't even know what procedures the Dr. had recommended, or what I wanted. Sorry, but that is just not the attention to detail I want from someone who is going to make adjustments to my face. Nothing against Dr. Cardenas, but I had another Dr. from his office emailing me, telling me I'd get the info, and I never did. Then when someone makes contact, they have no idea of what he "supposedly" recommended after looking at my pictures, or what I wanted in the first place. This has been just my personal experience, but it was awful. A month later, and I'm not any closer to finding out anything than when I first emailed them.
I believe in signs. Even though Dr C is a very good facial surgeon perhaps he is not the right doctor for you. Go with the flow until you find the one who is right for you.

I TOTALLY agree with you!! And that's exactly how I'm taking it. Funny how it starts down one path and leads to another.... ;D
It is what it is. For the price they charge People seem to be generally happy with the service. I ran into the same problem then went to transop and he was prompt with responses.
Its a trade off.

Life is a funny game, but the one who wins is the one who plays the game :)
As NC said, sometimes you just have to get hold of the right person.
I sent an email to Tyler when I requested information, he was on vacation but still responded to me.
The next week when he was back in the office we began communication and I had a quote within a week.
I have my surgery scheduled with them on October 2nd.
