Title: Breast sensitivity gone.
Post by: Korra on April 02, 2012, 12:10:22 AM
So I've been on HRT almost 7 weeks and around 3 weeks my nipples started getting really sensitive and since then I've had some growth but the last 3 days its been completely gone.  I dont mean less sensitive I mean not at all...  Normal?

Mine stopped being sensitive between months 6-7... I'm sure they'll become sensitive again when they decide to go thru a big growth spurt.

Mine will lose sensitivity from time to time, but it always seems to come back just about the time I start thinking "Well that's it, I guess they're done"

Mine stopped when I moved from estrodial to progynova, is that bad? Growth rate is a lot lower too.

I'm pretty much at the same point as you, even though my nipples weren't sensitive until a week ago, and it has somewhat stopped these last days. I guess it's normal. It grows, then takes a break.

Mine stop briefly (or rather, I don't notice the soreness)...and then a car door comes along to remind me.

:'(

LOL

It's all good though...a quick rub or two and I'm good.

Almost on E for 3 weeks here.
Nipples don't like me when I go jogging (well mainly the right one)- and it's not as though anything has really grown either. The rest of the time nothing much is happening now.

It's just one of those things that come and go I think.

Mine regularly go from extremely sensitive to normal and everywhere in between, then back again, and they're definitely still growing..  :)

Let me think, at first it was month 1, then month 3-4, now they are quiet I think they will start speaking when its around month 6-7, 9-10 etc... I will evaluate that further, its is definitely cyclical or so I hope!!!

If you want to try increasing sensitivity, try nipple piercings.  They work wonders for me. ;)

lol!  Too awesome!  Seriously, though, nipple piercings are like having another finger on the other side of your nipple. ^_^

Ah sorry for such a late reply, I'd be lying if I said I've been busy so we'll just go with I forgot.  Yeah my nipples sensitivity comes and goes its a regular thing now.  One thing that is odd is some days theyll be poking out and others look almost flat...almost like they're swelling one day then goes away or something, not sure.  Last few days I started progesterone I've been crying every night till I fall asleep so haven't been in the best of moods.  I know this is unrelated to my post title but Id figure id ask how you cope with this...I literally convince myself im the most worthless thing on the planet when i have these panic attacks.  I assume its from progesterone, since besides a little crying from estrogen I've never experienced anything like that.

Hormones produce a WIDE range of emotions that we never had before.
