This was taken about two months ago. It's fuzzy due to the camera's lense got stuck on its track, so I'm going to have to buy another one since I cannot figure out how to open it without breaking it further. Basically, I'm posting the picture for opinions on how to handle the hair, maybe makeup and etc. Or even best colors of clothes to wear, since I have too many greys and blacks in my wardrobe so I really really want advice on better color choices. :)

Hey Bridget!

I really dont know what to suggest because really, the choice is yours. How would you like your hair? Have you tried to see what a middle parting looks like?

Unfortunaly, i'm not great at make-up myself, so maybe someone can help you better about that... But really, you should think about what you'd like your hair to do. Try it and experiment!

Once i took a piccy of my face and edited it with Adobe with diff hairstyles once to see what suited me, maybe you could have a go with that?

Strawberry Blond hair blue eyes fair skin I have some of those same features. My hair is some what longer, I do the pony tail bangs no part hair style, have you considered thinning your brows some? stay away from non earth tones eye shadows and greens tans brown work well eye liner and mascara of course and frosted pink lipstick with gloss lets bring out your lips but not to much :) you have great skin some light powder looks like all you need. When I first transitioned I was lost in the makeup department so I had a make over :) lots of girly fun.

Yeah I go pony tail pretty much anymore since my bangs are long enough for the side parting. :) Thanks for the color tips, I've had trouble trying to make a color scheme according to any books or sites I've found online.

My make over was the best thing ever, I did mine at a cosmo school the girls were great tried a ton of things some worked some didn't the things that worked I kept and there was no high pressure sales clerk piling on the high dollar stuff, I would like to go to one of those glamor shots make over sessions.

Good femme features Bridge...

Greens but not kelly greens and blues, any of the earth tones as well. All those will work great with your hair color and skin tone. Blacks and greys will actually wash you out, but blacks can be universal and with a baby blue or dustry sagey green top it will work.

As for makeup, stay away from colors like pink, blue etc. If you must wear colored eye shadow use a deep purple that is dusty in tone, it will make your eyes pop, but use it in the evening vs daytime. Lined eyes- top outer lids, inner top and bottom lids will open your eyes more. Use a lip plumper with a cinnemon tone and try the brown family for eyeshadow. I personally use eyeshadow for blush, it lasts longer ;)
