Title: Hi there.
Post by: jademouse on April 05, 2012, 12:33:46 AM
Hi there, my name is Kyle for right now and I am transgender. Assigned male at birth, but in my heart I now know that I want to be female and that is how I have always felt yet just realized. I am 21 years old. I am out to my parents and one friend, and they are seem supportive. I have been seeing a gender therapist for a couple months now and it has been helping tremendously. Anyway, she said that I should join one of these online support networks. So I am. I don't know where this road will take me, but I'm pretty sure I'm one the right one.

Hi Kyle,
Another warm Aussie welcome to Susan's family. Well so far you have achieved some very inspiring goals. Good to hear everything has been so positive for you.

As you embark on this journey of a lifetime, remember to stop and smell the roses. Even at the tender young age of 35+ (Yeah Sure. Who's in denial now?  ) Oh!! sorry; typo. Should be 53+  (Catherine? your nose is growing :eusa_liar:  :icon_chainsaw: ) Ah! Shut up. It's a girls prerogative not to reveal such sensitive information.

No doubt you've seen there is an absolute mountain of resources and information for you to browse. There are also some of the most amazing relationships you'll ever have, develop here.

So over to you. jump in start posting your dreams, desires, fears and failings and be amazed at the personal growth that develops. In the meantime, be safe, well and happy.
Lotsa huggs
Catherine

Heya,

This place is great for questions you may have, support you need or concerns you need to raise. Theres people here who have been through the 'rebirth' and emerged as the beautiful butterflies they always knew in their hearts they were meant to be, others who are still midway in their journeys, ladies and guys who are at the same stage as you and even people who want to know a bit more about this whole 'thing' before deciding whether or not to transistion - so i hope you find what you're looking for  ;D

X

PS Apologies for the flowery prose! I'm in a good mood today for some reason! :-*
