Title: Happy Easter everyone.
Post by: ByeBye on April 08, 2012, 10:37:27 AM
Today is Day of Rejuvenated Life, coming from the cultures that believed this truth: that warmth has finally overtaken the cold winter for 6 months. I noticed this myself like it's actually warm like every day now.

How am I commemorating today spiritually?

Today is the day to shed the old stuff behind and jump out into your new shell. For me Regeneration symbolizes a new chance to become who I truly am.

Aw you too. I wish my family was doing something special. This is one of the first years my family isn't out and out to extended family. I either usually go to church and/or see family.

Amen to that, Happy Easter!

I went to bed last night with hot sweats and chills. I am still out of it today. I think i'll use this sick feeling as an excuse to stop eating for a while. I do need to lose arond 30lbs..

Oh i did listen in this morning to catholic chrch online which my mom does each sunday. I do have to say i should be more thankful for what yahshua has done for me. I was glad i was able to overlook the service being a catholic one.

Happy Easter everyone.  There's a contractor cutting down a dead tree a few houses down as I type.  Unusual for this holiday.  Dinner at my sister's later.

We celebrate easter by coloring eggs and eating candy. Some years we do egg hunts but my kid isn't home until late tonight so I just have to make sure the easter bunny comes while she's gone.

Lol my friend lives at a house where they celebrate easter by watching zombie movies all day.

There were Easters when I was a kid when my mom would cook rabbit. Even as a kid who still believed in the Easter Bunny I thought it was funny.

Yeah, that's the family I came from.

Church was great this morning, and now I'm relaxing waiting for my ex-wife to come over for dinner later tonight.

I dont really cellebrate easter anymore,
when I was a kid we used to make decorations. eggs, and chickens and so..
we also writted letters with poems.. like:

"my name is wrotted with those cats..
you will get chokolate if you know who wrote that"

and then a cat for each letter of your name.

the tradition goes that if the person resivering the letter knowing who sent it, he/she will get an egg (of chokolate)
but if not, the person must send a chokolate egg to the person who sended it.
