I hate how people put so much emphasis on genital status. You are who you are whether you pay a surgeon to help or not.
Start going out by yourself and don't be mean to her, your not a freak. shes just mean and doesn't know how to hold her tongue.
Moms are greedy sometimes. Sorry

Yeah ikr, like they're gonna know whats between your legs anyway.
Angel i'm so sorry hun, my parents were the same way. Some people will never understand or accept you this way that's the harsh reality. We've all seen your pictures and girl you look absolutely fabulous! She's your mother so you have to understand from her point of view you will always be her son, it's hard for close family members to let go.
Happy Easter! xo
Oh yea... Crap! I forgot, There's a new law out that says you have to wear nothing but socks and shoes below the waist, so that we will all see each other's giblets. You know, so that the whole world will know who is pre-op and who has the bits they are meant to have in a binary sex world. Because everyone cares what's between your legs.
I have a temper and I would have probably hurled worse names back at her. Sorry. *hugs*
That's funny, lots of people know my status and they don't consider me a freak.

Me too... because, well, they have met me... and I don't really behave or dress in a strange way... people seem to be ok with it then :)
Amen to that Felix!
I had an old and dear friend call me up and call me a freak (amongst other things) when I came out.. His wife (who I don't really get along with) and sister overheard the call and tore strips off him.. He called me again the following day to apologise, to tell me that he had reacted without really thinking about it and that his wife and his sister had forced him to think about it.. After he'd had a think, he realised how wrong he was..

You're hot!
And yes. I've found it astonishing who supports me and who condemns me.
There seems to be many personal reasons why some accept and some don't.

I'm sorry to hear that, Angelique. As I recall, you're pre-op and pre-hrt.
Are you going off to college in the fall?
The distance and time away might do some good.

i wish but unfortunatly im not, im only in the 11th grade
YOU ARE NOT A FREAK
You're a girl, and you're beautiful.
Why can't I reach through this screen and hug you ?!
I get a lot of ->-bleeped-<- from my twin brother. The one person that's been there for me through everything was the first to hate me for this. He always calls me a freak and says that society will never accept me and i should just live with what I'm born with...
...to which i reply - I'm happy. EFF off.
I know you can't say that to your mother, but you need to stay true to yourself. When you move out of home things will be so much easier. I moved out at 18 - maybe start saving?
Wish there was more i could do to help.

She sounds concerned for you and your safety... although being called a freak by your mother must suck.
Please, stay strong.
There may be some truth to what she is saying. You will be going through a second puberty and a late one at that. This is often a confusing time for those who transition and also for their friends and family. There really can be an awkward phase but it does indeed, get better.
I wish you all the best.
Tori
Sorry to hear that, i have had a friend run me down on facebook because i fell out with her she has gone from being supporting to trying to use hurtful comments to get to me, used as a weapon, now i know how low she will go.
I wish you luck :)
Oh I've been called a freak, a ->-bleeped-<-, a bastard, an ->-bleeped-<-, and a whole other medley of unpleasant names by my brothers, my aunts, my father, and various other people.
It hurts I know. :/

Totally true. We must let our voices be heard over the media's 'sex change' circus.
Just think of yourself as a X Men. just cuz they say it. dont make it true.
You could point out that all embryos start out female and males are just a mutation that occurs at about 8 weeks or so. You are just correcting an error. (This also explains a lot about the way the world works!)
If you take her at her literal word, she has also given your wish for SRS her approval !
Karen.
