Does anyone else hang out in Second Life at all? I occasionally go in there, but the trans hang out spaces and support centers tend to be all trans women. Since my avatar is male (and rather handsome, I daresay), they don't talk with me that much.
SL is a virtual reality world where you can pretty much look like anything (yes, down to the last details). It's free to run around in, although you need a decent computer and connection. Anyway, if anyone hangs out in there, or wants to meet up, drop me a note.
http://www.secondlife.com/ (http://www.secondlife.com/) has more info (or I hope so - I'm at work and it's filtered, drat!)
I wasn't sure if this should be in the main support groups folder, since it's just about FTMs getting together. But let me know if it doesn't belong here.
I tried 2ndd life..couldnt get into it. I never saw many ftms there
Maybe we are more in WoW.....? Swords! Dragons! ummm, Panda bears!
I found that SL is even worse as RL ,more extreme as you can play your worst fantasy.
Found out many male play woman that are no trans.Best to see SL as a movie al makeup and fantasy. Pro site its so nice to make your outfit :) but wish the improve the avatar it stay bad.

True - but you can also play your best "fantasy." It's all up to the individual. (And of course you can do both, having several characters if you want.)
Many people do experiment in SL with using avatars (characters) who are different genders than they are in "real life." I guess I don't see anything wrong with that, especially if it gives people a more relaxed or tolerant view of differences in gender expression.
Of course, since there are specific trans support spaces and meeting zones, someone who isn't thinking of themselves as trans somehow just isn't likely to hang out there. There are enough spaces for folks interested in sexy activities, or specific fetishes (without going into detail as this is an all-ages board). I haven't bumped into much of that in the trans support sims. And if there is a lot of that elsewhere, I just don't see as much going in the direction of female to male, which is why I posted here.
Thanks for your thoughts - if I misunderstood any of your comment, I hope you can clarify things.
I'm there since 2008 but I've noticed there are less and less people now. :embarrassed:

World of Warcrack for me!
Warcraft is sooo complicated. Plus I am shy and don't appreciate being killed all the time.
Try a pve server testo, then you choose when other players can kill you :)
Maybe we should get a guild on a server all together :)
Just stay away from Malygos US
