Title: Secure Breast Attachment
Post by: Jennifer_G on April 01, 2007, 02:34:26 AM
Hello,

I have a nice pair of forms, but haven't purchased anything to keep them attached without wearing supportive clothing. I want to be able to have them stay attached without support, even through some light activity. I know this sounds wierd, but its just doesn't feel free without this being possible.

Any suggestions? I want the best, price is no problem.

Thx,

Jen

Jennifer, if the forms you have are not the attachable kind and price is no object, then buy a pair of attachable forms.  The glues you see online for use with forms not originally made to attach are in the long run, not good for the forms.

BeverlyAnn,

Thank you for your advice, the forms I have are attachable ones from http://thebreastformstore.com, its just that I was looking for something with a little more hold than the tape they provide. My forms are supposed to be extra durable in the back to provide support for many types of adhesives, Im just looking for the "super-hold" kind of product I guess.

Thanks again,

Jen

I have been told to use Hollisters Medical Adhesive -- this one you can go braless and use a solvent to remove.

Another is "It Stays" body adhesive -- water soluble but you can not go braless.

I have to admit that when I saw this topic my first thought was of child development.

How long will adhesives hold a breast form in place?  And when you go to remove them, how do you do it?

I believe Hollister's is for a couple of days

The other is "It Stays" is daily.

Hey Jen,

This was an excellent post!!! :eusa_clap: I've been buying my breast forms from the breast form store for years and I agree that the  little double sided pieces that they send doesn't quite work as well as anticipated. But thanks daiseybelle for that excellent suggestion on using Hollisters Medical Adhesive. I'm going to go and get some right now while it's on my mind :icon_confused2:

I have used Hollisters Medical Adhesive too. Just remember to clean your forms after using it, Its harder to clean after several times.
Learned that first hand

Thanks Brandi for that valuable tip. Would you suggest using rubbing alcohol  for cleaning? It's going to be so cool to be able to wear some really nice strappy dresses! :icon_lol:

Where did you find the Hollisters Medical Adhesive?

you can find it on the internet, I bought mine off of ebay.
I found using citrus cleaner worked the best, Nothing to strong or it could damages the forms.
One web sight suggested vasaline and let it set over night and it wipes off, haven't tried that yet.

I bought cheap forms on ebay...  a size "B" and a "D"

The "B" forms have sticky adhesive already on them, and they stay in place with snug clothing over them...  I wore these with my nightgowns on my recent cruise.  I loved the feeling.

The "D" forms I bought the Hollister's for and it attached pretty well..... gosh those babies were big... but they look great under a dress.  The adhesive held great, although I need to apply it better next time.

Hey Daisybelle,

Your breastforms look really nice. in your avatar Are they round or are they a teardrop form. I have a foam rectangle form and then I have silicone breast forms that will require a lot of adhesive to stick (and make-up) so that they won't be so noticable when wearing a bikini.

Those forms are actually just enhancers I bought that I inserted into the bikini top.  They add about 1 cup size and obviously do not show.   You can find them at Walmart for about $15.00.

I was nervous about posting this shot.... but I thought it looked okay --- good enough to pass without seeing my head.

I felt a little ballsy to bare it down to my bikini on a well traffic'd beach... but I got not one ill look or comment.

By the way this vendor has a good deal on Hollister adhesive and the remover : Hollister deal : http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZbneukom (http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZbneukom)

Very interesting concept Daiseybelle. That's something that I've never considered. I've got a pair of breast enhancers and I may try it out and see how well it goes.

FWIW, I have 2 different sizes of those enhancers.  I use them separately or alone, or in different configurations depending on what I am wearing.

Daisy,

If you mean the one in my current avatar, it came from J.C. Penney.

I tried the hollisters for the first time tonight.   They are still on and all I can say is....   OMG I HAVE BREASTS!   Every little movement makes them move and you feel every bit of it.   Mine are Silicon, full C's.
Will let you know how the cleaning goes.

The first ime I did not get the edges as good as I liked --- but I completely agree once on they're yours!!!  And I love them.

How do they look?  Mine are only to fill out and under clothes they look great.  Did you use foundation on them to make them look like your own>

Just curious.

I didnt use foundation on them but I intend to try that once I can get the gluing process down easier..   i advise against spreading the glue to the edges with your fingers.

Also cleanup.. well it sucks.   The Remover is great for unattaching it from you, but it doest clean off the form.  I went and got a citrus cleanser and tried that.    Still, not much better.

I attempted this the other day.   I did spread glue to edge with a Q-Tip.   They went on much more snug.  Removal was a bitch.  The edges still did not attached as well as I hoped..  I probably did not wait for it to cure long enough.   How long did you leave them attached?

Check my gallery to see how they lay under my dress & top..

Actually cause of the limited amounts of glue I used they didnt stay on a tightly as I would have thought they would.  Truthfully I fell asleep in them.  They were still there in the morning, only the right on had moved about 2 inches to the left.   They both came off with little effort.   But I used the remover anyway.

Now if I can just get the damn things clean!

Next time spray the whole surface good using a qtip to spread to the edge and let it sit the 5 minutes to cure.

I did not get mine clean but the next time I plopped them on without adding glue and just put them in my bra.   When I went to take them off they were stuck again.... woe did not expect that.

BTW --- sleeping in them brings a whole new feeling to sleep.    Wearing a nightgown without them felt weird --- with them I just felt right.

Also really did not like camis before the forms, but once glue on they are great.
