Andrej Pejic says he feels typecast as an androgynous model.
The 20-year-old Australian made headlines in 2011 after appearing on the cover of Dossier magazine with his hair in curls and his torso exposed.

"Well I love my model transgender sisters," he said.
"This is usually a group of people that are not treated nicely by society. They are usually segregated and go thorough torment and it's nice to sort of share these stories and open people's minds."
Pejic also opened up about his past. He proudly declares he was prom king and queen.
"I was prom queen and the year before I was prom king," he said
Something strikes me the wrong way when one of the rich and famous complains about how tough life is.
Jamie, everyone was problems and no one should judge them. I'm sure most of us aren't starving children in North Korea.

I'm sorry, I thought the rich and famous are PEOPLE.....
If you don't appreciate being judged, then maybe you can stop judging others......

How did I "judge" Andrej Pejic?
Now, if I had said he was a shallow, pampered airhead, whose toughest struggle in life is maintaining his 25-inch waist -
that would have been judgmental!
Personally I think he has done pretty well for a lad from Broadmeadows. With his looks, he would have had a hard time at school there.

If it strikes you the wrong way, then you're saying they shouldn't complain. That's a judgement. And just because a person has a profession where they make a lot of money, doesn't mean that suddenly what's inside of them disappears. They're just people. Same as you or I.
If someone wrote "something strikes me the wrong way when transgendered people complain about how tough life is"...... you wouldn't feel judged?
Judgement isn't just "You're shallow"..... it's also, "that shirt is ugly", or "this is stupid". A shirt can't be ugly. A shirt is only a shirt. If you find it ugly, it's how you feel about it that makes it that way. Because the person wearing it feels it's cute. So the shirt is just a shirt. Opinion is looking inward "I personally wouldn't wear that shirt" Judgement lashes out "That shirt is ugly".
