Title: Getting stuff down on paper
Post by: El on May 09, 2012, 07:28:58 AM
This might be a little naughty as I have already made a post in the Blogs section but that's quite far down the front page so i figure I might get a little more exposure here (although I'm not sure why i want exposure, i do definitely want it XD)

To make it a little less of a shameless plug, i would advise anyone who is having trouble sorting out their head to try writing stuff down be it on a blog, a journal or even just a letter to yourself. Its amazing the release of pressure I've felt from just getting stuff out of my head and into written format!

Absolutely.  I have been keeping a journal for a couple of years now, and it is a big help with sorting out my feelings and ideas.

Writing is very cathartic. Even if no one else ever reads it.

I agree. I started a blog seven years ago when I was deal with my gender struggles. There were nights when I was up til 3 in the morning because there was so much to let out.
