I am looking for a good endo in ny who can take UHCare. Anyone?
Hey I'm in NYC! My endo is frank Ross he is affiliated with elmhurst hospital (Jackson heights, queens). I am not sure hee takes that insurance as I have emblem health. However, if that fails, doesn't callen lorde have an endo?
People can decide not to take certain insurance companies..? Weird. "It will be 73 563,77 $ for your heart surgery. Sorry, we don't take XX company. But hey, smile! You're alive!"

Oh myl naif quebecois friend ^-^. Some doctors don't take insurance because they could either not want o do the paperwork or because they feel that they make more money and feel some insurance companies are more reliable than others. Also, If a doctor accepts an insurance a lot of times it's due to a cntract if they are affiliated with a hospital. For example, my mom works in elmhurst as a nurse and the hospital gives her and me emblem health so any doctors in that hospital have to accept that insurance (ut are not limited to dong so).
Well, I don't know... It just feels like if they have the right to be an insurance company, they have to be trustworthy... And if they have the right to be a doctor, they have to accept all insurance companies. But well, things are weird in the US. Logic ≠ greed, and greed is the spirit of the country, so yeah...
!
But I'm sorry; looks like I'm seriously derailing this.
Erin, thanks for your reply. On point! I will call Callen Lord Monday, I called them last week but missed their deadline to schedule a consultation. I think I also found a Endo who takes insurance in Chelsea. I am scheduled to see him on the 7/June.
