Title: (Minorly) conflicted
Post by: ffern on May 10, 2012, 09:17:41 AM
So today I was sitting in the back of my mums shop (she alters clothes) in guy mode, and a woman comes past being shown to the changing room by one of my mum's minions  and says "is that a girl or a boy?" refering to me.

Now for like 5 or ten seconds I was pretty happy about that comment, that i was passing as androgonous while in boy type clothes and stuff.  then , of course, after the monment  for a clever and biting retort had passed, i realised that she had just been incredibly rude and got a little pissed off at it.

yeah, first world problem and all its just kinda um weird to be happy about it, and yet annoyed at the same time.

I guess most annoying is that all the pithy backtalk is something i think of way to late, while at the time I'm usually rabbit in the headlights when its someone i dont know. *le sigh* (fun fact : rabbits do actually freeze in a beam of light apparently and you can catch them, accoring to yorkshire farmers who like to go 'lamping' )
