Title: Bottom Surgery Before Top Surgery?
Post by: King Malachite on May 12, 2012, 11:03:41 PM
Has anyone heard of anyone getting their lower surgery before top surgery or even bottom surgery with no top surgery at all because of major dysphoria or other reasons?  I know a lot of guys have more top dysphoria than lower so the chances of that happening are probably more rare.  I've thought about going that route sometimes.

I probably won't get a lot of responses but are there any guys here who have thought about getting lower surgery before top?

No, mainly because of the cost difference and my chest dysphoria is so horrible.

I kept telling myself that I didn't want bottom surgery at all, but that was a load of crap. I focused on top surgery first. So I'm not one of the guys you seek.

But, holy sh**, I sure want it now. ::)

I do want top surgery but I'm more dysphoric about the bottom.  If I had A cups then I would have probably gotten bottom surgery first.

I've never heard of that happening. The bottom surgery's more expensive, so I imagine most guys would go for the top first.

I wouldn't recommend going without top surgery completely, though. T negatively affects the 'female' (we need a better term) sex organs, raising the risk of cancers and other bad complications involving them, and breasts are one of the organs affected. It's not as bad with breasts as it is with the ovaries and uterus, but it's still a risk. I wouldn't personally take the chance.

I know one guy who seams to want bottom surgery more than top surgery.
But I havent asked him all dirrectly.

I guess its cause its way more easy to hide your bottom than your top,
even without packing just asume I have a d***.

beside that I only seen people who didnt do top surgery, heard about 1 caise where the guy had a very small cheast and where top surgery wasnt nessesarry cause he could still pass with the cheast.

I'd say my dysphoria is equal in all aspects, but I'm going for top surgery first because binding is harder than packing, among other things. I'd get a meta in an instant if there was more information about doctors that perform the procedure and recent pictures out there, but yeah...Top surgery's information is more widely available, at least from my perspective, so it's easier for me to put money towards it than a metoidioplasty, which can be a lot more expensive and is harder to find recent results for.
