Title: How the heck do you size Les Loveboat binders?
Post by: aleon515 on May 13, 2012, 11:14:30 PM
I ordered a Les Loveboat binder. It came in the mail yesterday (not too thrilled that "Loveboat" was on the packaging--if this is a big concern to you...)  Anyway, I got a medium, this makes sense as that was an inch or two under what the high end of medium would be. Not even close. I guessed that the size was not one or two inches off but more like 8 or 9, huh? At this rate I might be an extra large. I am 5 feet one and not overweight. I am not too chesty either, maybe a B-C cup.  If I am not *completely* flat, I wouldn't care. I am guessing that am medium might fit a thin teenage kid.

So should I order the XL?

On a plus note, the thing was pretty comfortable, material is very nice and probably cool. (It's the Air M Velcro binder). I want to order again, but I don't want to order wrong again.

I am able to donate the binder to a local trans group, so I am happy about that. I'd rather do this than send it back to Taiwan or wherever.

Sounds like "Chinese" sizing to me - and in more then one way. (They most all are "flat" to boot :) eating too much Soya?)

Being a 38A I need "XL" for a loose-ish fit and definately an "L" for a normal to tight fit in any tops/sports-bra from any Asian sources.
BTW, the same for my size 12 / 36 bottom, normally a medium, I also need a Large... All seems AT LEAST one size smaller...

Maybe that helps some...

Did you size it the same way you would size an Underworks binder, with the average of the overbust and underbust measurements? If so...there's your problem. LesLoveBoat (along with basically every non-Underworks company) size binders using ONLY the overbust.

Yeah they size in overbust only. Makes little sense really, but I talked to someone on youtube who posted a review. I think I should have gotten a large.
