Title: chest pains
Post by: Elijah3291 on May 16, 2012, 11:56:52 AM
I have been having a weird lower chest, upper stomach pain.  It feels like a dull kinda pain, almost like heartburn, it comes and goes and lasts a few seconds.  I suck at describing pain but if I had to I would say its kinda like a hand in between my ribs kinda grabbing at the tissue inside.

I started getting this last night, I don't know what it is, and I am wondering if it could be one of those problems that transguys get when they bind?

Although I wear a super old stretched out binder with only one layer, and I only bind when I am going out, so I don't know why I would have problems.

Any ideas? because I really cant afford to go to the dr unless it is a serious problem.

I would say that if it carries on for more than a week or gets worse then go and see the doctor. How long have you been binding for? I'm afraid that I don't know anything about it myself but I have friends that do.

Oh how weird I know exactly what you mean. I've been experiencing the same thing and I'm not sure what it is either. Like a dull internal ache under where I guess my diaphragm is.

It could be related to posture or not breathing correctly while binding.  It could be a lot of things.  Is it on one side or centre?  Do you have any other symptoms or medical conditions?
