Title: So what did you have for pudding (dessert)?
Post by: Devlyn on May 19, 2012, 07:12:39 PM
I'm having a tray of store bought frosted  cupcakes. Umm, err, ahh, what I meant is, I'm eating a cupcake out of the tray. Or maybe four. Hugs, Devlyn

I never eat dessert. This is why I'm trim and gorgeous. Darling peel that grape for me please.

Me neither Cindy. Except tonight as I am frozen to the bone, so I had some dry biscuits with large slices of butter on them.  Good cure for hypothermia.

Karen.

I actually found one which I sort of like, or... well, let's just say it didn't make me want to vomit like every other dessert seems to. Probably because it tastes like coffee.

Tiramisu.

The portion I had was very, very rich though, so I couldn't eat more than a few spoonfuls. But it was an interesting experience.

I guess the best way to describe dessert would be pear "beignets"?

Pear rings that were battered and fried, coated in powdered sugar with just a hint of cardamom, along with braised pear and mascarpone cheese

I have to admit I do like Tiramisu, but it is very rich and I'm not really a chocolate/coffee  person.

I never order dessert when I eat out either. For some of my friends it is the highlight of the meal. I'm usually too full anyway, and the idea of a rich dessert doesn't appeal. But I will sometimes have cheese and biscuits.
