Metro/Graham Lanktree Homosexual NDP MP Randall Garrison would like to see transgender Canadians get more protection in the Canadian Human Rights Act and Criminal Code
There's still much to do to protect the rights of transgendered Canadians, NDP MP Randall Garrison told students from three Ottawa schools Friday morning.
"We're still missing a little piece of the rights puzzle for those that are transgendered," he said to the group of 50 middle school students celebrating rights for Ottawa's GLBTQ community with Jer's Vision, a youth diversity initiative.
