what pet do you have or want to have?

I dont have any pets for the moment, but I would like to have 2 rats in the nearly future and then 2 cats afterward when I move to a place who allows it.

I've had cats most of my life, but I have had a collie dog, hampsters, guinea pigs, turtles, fish (both fresh and salt water 55 gallon tanks), birds.

I have 2 cats and a kitten.


I've been brought up with cats.  I had fish but the cats either killed them or they died.

I have three cats right now. c:
We're watching our Grandma's chihuahua, though, and she is not going to recover;
so, he might become a permanent member of the family soon.

I've always wanted a pet walrus, a turtle, or a buffalo, though. C:

1 rabbit
15 hermit crabs
7 fish

I also want to get:

One more dog
An iguana (to be named Gojira)
A cat

I have a dog, he's just over a year old now and its the first dog I've ever had.

In the past 25 years, I used to have Snapping Turtles, Painted Turtles, Green Anoles, Gardner Snakes, Veiled Chameleons, Panther Chameleons, Teddy Bear Hamster, Short Brown Hair Hamster, mice, different kinds of goldfishes, Red Belly piranha (The dangerous kind), House Sparrows, Salamanders, Newts, 4 ft long Iguana, African Clawed frogs, American toads, Leopard frogs, Bull frogs, Pac-Man frog,  & ... I know I had others but I can't remember now. Right now I have 4 wonderful Peachface lovebirds, 2 Green Spotted Puffer fish, & a female Siberian Dwarf Hamster. Also, have a male Rag doll cat. Well, the cat is my sisters but the cat lives with me, my mom, & my sister.

im sorry about that, I dont know how to make multiple answers on this site so thats why.

I changed the number of votes allowed per person from one (1) to five (5).  I also checked that you can change your vote.  So it you remove your vote it will give you the option to vote again with multiple choices.

Right now, I have three domestic cats and a F3 Savannah. I put down, a large deposit, on, one of the following: F2 Chausie, F2 Savannah, or a show quailty F5 Bengal. I am just waiting, for, any of the cats, on that list, to be born  :D ::).

I have one fat cat. :) I like cats because they look so human to me. I would like to have hundreds of them!  ::)

My apartment allows cats and so we'll probably get one. I'm ambivalent. I don't want more expense or work, but my daughter has never had a pet mammal and I feel like I'm depriving her. Cats are wonderful.

I have three domestic cats and one hybrid cat (F3 Savannah). I LOVE all cats: domestic, hybrid exotic, and pure exotics  :eusa_dance:.

We have a cat now. Yep yep. A beautiful longhair shelter kitty who is almost as old as my middleschooler and pretty adorable as well.

I have a cat his name is Simon :) He is my little Catfish, beacuse he loves water.

All I have is a rat.  But when I have my own home, I want to have a few dogs, goats, and a miniature donkey.  Probably never going to be able to have the goats or donkey, but I can dream.

only two dogs. A 7mo bullmastiff boy and 2yr boxer girl. I love them both and take them with me jogging every morning

We have a dog and four cats.

My house mates have 2 cats + 1 more that's here on a visit while the owners is OS, N1 & N3 are nice and quiet but N2 does what he wants, but I'm glad it isn't my furnisher in the lounge room as its shredded from them scratching it,

I do have a cat who lives away from home. He moved out many years ago to my aunts, said something about the food being better. He eats anything. A beautiful Russian Blue called Pushkin or alternatively flea bag...

He's quite old now and mostly blind at 19 years but still very cute.

I had a Russian blue as a child, beautiful cat and probably the only one that could hold his own against our Siamese

Currently I'm living in a rental house that doesn't allow pets (doesn't stop some of my housemates from keeping rats though >.>)

but when I'm in a house that accepts it and I've got the spare money I want to get a Maine Coon cat, which is the largest domestic breed available.. cuz big cats are amazing ^.^

I can't currently have any pets in this apartment, which makes me absolutely miserable.  I'm not whole without a cat in my life!  This is the first place I've lived that didn't have one.  I'll be looking to adopt a cat as soon as I'm able.  I'd also like to have a dog and some sort of reptile, maybe a couple of betta fish... but if I could only choose one pet, it would definitely be a cat.

My first cat Vilsu lives with my Mom and stepdad but I pretty much still consider her to be my cat.

I'm planning to get a dog in the future when our financial situation and lives are otherwise better.

I have an American Shorthair cat named Snowshoes. We call her more vulgar names but Snowshoes is her name. She's like the #3 most important thing to me behind my mom and HRT.

I've had at least one cat all my life; the most cats we've had at once was 7. Now we're down to 3. I love cats and can't see a point in my life where I wouldn't want one.

I like dogs too. I had 1 growing up, a black lab/german shepherd mix. He was great. I'll have another dog again later in life cos a cat can't keep me company when I go hiking like a nice big dog can.

Also selected "other" cos I used to have ferrets and they were awesome. Really sweet and playful animals. I could see myself getting 2 at some point (has to be 2 though, they get very lonely otherwise).

One of my babies just died 3 weeks ago. She was the sweetest and most photogenic animal in the world  :'(

Here's my two favorite adorable housemates... Thelma and Louise. We just adopted them from a local animal shelter last October. And we love em, we love em, we love em!!!

Had a dog, lop rabbit and hamster.
Currently have a rabbit mix, dog and three ferrets.

Sadly all of my guys are going to pass around the same time :( Will be looking into getting a Pug then.

We have a 10-gallon fish tank with glofish and neon tetras. (Used to have dalmatian mollies and flame von rios, but the glofish and neons seem to live longer in our tank and I have a 5 year old so... yeah.) I'd love to have a dog or cat, but my spouse is highly allergic (even to the ones that are supposedly hypoallergenic). The fish are fun, though. Kind of relaxing to watch them.

I was always a cat person (8 over my life so far, one now) until we got a dog (Australian Shepard/mutt mix), now dogs (Catahoula Leopard). Both dogs are rescue dogs. The second one made the news being the sibling of a puppy that fell into a cave last year. I also used to keep and breed fish (angel fish and gold severum).
