Hey all,
I have always, and still do, want to be female. However, I want to keep my male/guy/boy parts. With them ideally working. But, I only want my boyfriend/husband to know, I have them. I am 5'2 (at best), always had long hair, and have never been, over 130 lbs. I am frequently, called a girl/lady/women. I LOVE that.
Now, my concern is this, when, I try to look for a gender therapist, do I say, that, I want to look like a women, but, have "male" parts? Yes, I want to take HRT, have electrolysis, and natural breasts or have implants.

Non-op as its called is becoming more common. And yes, you should be able to be honest with any therapist you work with, if you can't, then its not the right therapist for you. There is also a section devoted to non-op on here as well.
As my therapist says, there is nothing compulsory in what you do. Some people want the whole SRS, others don't for a multitude of reasons, including but not restricted to ill-health, finances, age, etc.
There is nothing odd or wrong with your decision at all.

Nothing abnormal at all. Lots of people can'yt have SRS for a lot of reasons, and some just don't feel the need. I have considered it myself, along with just an Orchi.
I have a friend who has just had an Orchi, and facial hair removal, but does not intend to go any further. She is comfortable with her body as it is now and will not change her dress much either.
I also have a friend who is FtM and decided to change society instead of his body. He has kept his female name, and just gets on with living, and working for the GLBTI community.
Whatever works for you is okay. I have become a fairly radical Feminist, and think it all comes down to women not needing to ask anyone's permission to do whatever they like with their own body.

Thank you everyone. I was just concerned, since, to the best of my knowledge, I did not have a medical reason, to not want SRS, that, would "disqualify" me for being transgendered.
