Title: binders for broad guys
Post by: Justin 21 on May 27, 2012, 03:16:48 AM
hi I'm a 16D, but i am also quite broad across the shoulders and back. I've been having some trouble finding a binder that will fit properly. i ordered a large (which was recommended by my measurements).however when it arrived i couldn't even get it on.

any help is appreciated

Where did you order the binder and what model did you get? My boyfriend's rather large on the chest and he finds that the Underworks Tritop works best for him.

If this is your first binder, it's possible that you actually have the right size and still can't get it on. If your hips aren't much bigger than your shoulders/chest you might want to try to turn it inside out and 'step into it'. Top side down, pull it over your hips and then pull the top side over the bottom side (so it slides over itself and turns back right side out). If all goes well you just have to force the straps over your arms now.

My boyfriend has too much trouble with that way, but I prefer it over the feeling in my shoulders and everything when I try and force it over my head. I mean, it works, but I rather not.

i brought it from underworks, well underworks on ebay  not sure on what model. but it definatly wouldn't fit. i'd have to dislocate my shoulder to fit and it would proberbly constrict my breating too much. i tried to step into it since my hips are actually silightly smaller than my shoulders, but i couldn't get it past my thighs. i have since givein it to my friend who is half my size to use for cosplay and it fits her perfectly. so i just ordered from another company who make for larger guys

If you're that quick with ordering a new one, advice isn't really needed is it? ;)
