Title: Your blogs on Susan's Place UPDATE
Post by: Nero on June 12, 2012, 01:23:11 PM
We're removing unused blogs on the site. If you have not posted to your blog in the last 30 days and wish to resurrect it, please do so now. If you do not wish to resurrect your blog, please make copies of any posts you wish to keep.

To keep a blog here, please post to it at least once a month.
In one week, any blogs which haven't been posted to by the owner in the last 30 days will be removed.
Thank you.

Edit: If you can't keep up your blog for whatever reason, don't worry about the posts in it. I'm deleting the blogs but storing the posts in an archive per a member's suggestion.

Unused blogs will have their posts stored in an archive in a few days.
I can't promise the archive will be available forever though, so please make copies of anything important.

I still post on my blog but I started it on my old account that is gone and now I have my new account. If you look at the IP then my IP and the original post on the blog should match up. Will it be deleted? I kind of like it  :embarrassed:

I have a serious question, FA.

Is there a blog heaven?  Or a blog hell?

Well, I know there's a blog hell.  It's called "Jamie's World."

(Shameless plug)

Aww, 30 days? I'd hate to think I'd lose 5 years of regular blogging because I didn't update in a month and a half :( Is there any way that we'd consider like 90 days or something. I've been pretty regular and I try to be but not always.

That's probably due to a good diet with plenty of fiber.  ::)

But your point is well-taken.

Perhaps I was too literal. The goal is to reduce unused space on the site. I won't remove blogs that are updated regularly unless the between interval is excessive.

Basically, if I look through the window of your blog home and it looks like you're on vacation, you're safe. If I look through and an army of stray cats has taken over and the walls are crumbling, the wrecking ball may be on its way.

Try to aim for an update every 30 days to be on the safe side.
