Title: Epiphany on "Father's Day"
Post by: peky on June 16, 2012, 12:13:59 PM
I always heated (and still do) the word "transition" because in me it evokes a fundamental change in my essence.

As far as I can remember I have this unshakable belief that I am female.

So what is happening to me with this name change, legal gender change, RLE, HRT, and hopefully someday SRS ???

Well, it come to me that what is happening is that I am growing into be a woman, specifically a Lady

This simple epiphany, of my growth into womanhood, comes paradoxically on the eve of "Father's Day," and thus it has give me a second epiphany, and that is that "even as woman I can still continue to be good father."

That is very true. You will still be a good parent. It does not matter if you are a man or a woman, you are still the same parent you were. Father, and mother are just labels to describe a parent. IMHO
