Hey guys I thought we'd have some fun and answer the age old question of boxers, briefs or commando so come on guys tell us do you hide or hang :D
I'll start us off
If I'm at home I usually go wear boxers or go commando but I prefer the safety of briefs when going out
Boxers.
Briefs are for little kids and old men (IMO) and going commando feels disgusting. For some reason it makes me hyperaware of my transsexualism.
You also forgot to give the option of boxer briefs.
Oops sorry I really mean any type of underwear
I have boxers but I personally prefer to wear panties. I don't like the style of just plain briefs. I would definately be the most interested in boxer briefs though sometime in the future.
Though some of my boxers are so small around my thighs they may qualify as briefs. o.o I have no clue where they are at though.
Boxer briefs. Comfy and hold a packer in place :)
In order of preference: boxer briefs, boxers, commando.
I don't mind briefs and wear them sometimes, and don't mind going without altogether when I have to.
Boxers have to be silky, though. I hate how cotton boxers bunch up, and that's what puts me off.
Having to tug 'em down constantly... yeahhh... no.

You, sir, are a sensualist.
I actually have a pair of 100% silk boxers in my underwear drawer, but I don't wear them because they don't hold my packer. So I go with Hanes boxer briefs from TranZwear. I might have to go down to the next smaller size because these are getting a little too loose. So when I'm walking around in my skivvies at home, my packer sort of droops lower than it should. Ugh. Hate that.
The feel of a packer through silky material is wonderful, though, when you can find/make a comfortable harness to hold it there.
Yes, I've fondled myself. I know I'm not the only one.
;)

Hell, yeah! It doesn't do as much for me as it used to, though.
I wish I could just be happy with my current junk. I have trans friends who are fine with what they have--no need for bottom surgery. I envy them. Of course, most haven't had top surgery yet, so I suppose I shouldn't envy them TOO much.
boxer breifs or boxers
I wear pretty much any kind of underwear except that bikini/speedo style crap. I like boxers, boxer briefs, briefs, and I've gone commando several times (especially when in a hurry). I have no real preference unless I have the chance of my underwear being seen in which case I prefer boxers or boxer briefs.
I prefer boxers and boxer briefs. I do, however, wear briefs when I pack with my stp (I don't have a harness). May invest in one soon for my regular packer when it comes.
Never worn a speedo/bikini style. I've come close to buying some before. Gonna have to try that out.
Anything, I guess? I just wear what's comfortable to pack with or sleep in.
i havent started packing yet, so boxers for now. but i'm not sure if i'm going to wear a harness and boxers or boxer briefs when i start packing.
I wear boxer briefs unless i am just chillin at home alone than sometimes i go commando or boxers.
Boxers briefs.

You gotta love feel of actually hanging ;D
i await that moment. :) ^
I always went commando and thought underwear was frankly rather stupid and unnecessary, but lol after a couple months of T I realized I get too funky too fast now to not wear underwear. So now I go boxer briefs or boxers, depending on the weather and what else I'm wearing. I spend about half the year in thermal long johns.
oh i will ;)
Boxer briefs or briefs for me. :)
me: commando or boxers. Some kind of sporty underwear (men's bikini cut) when I'm packing.

I think that before top surgery all you can focus on is top surgery... it was only after I'd been post-surgical and on hormones that bottom surgery started to seem so appealing...
Anyway as to not be off topic completely:
I prefer boxers.

That's how I feel too. Still trying to get top surgery atm, and it pretty much consumes me.
Personally I hate the feel of my junk just jangling loosely around in my pants. Only exception is when I sleep I usually just have on pajama pants with no undies.
I also don't like all the extra fabric of boxers and how they ride up on you throughout the day. Yuck. I'll take briefs or boxer briefs thank you. Bonus points if they have some funky print.
Boxers. Anything else seems too restrictive and going commando isn't always comfortable.
Definitely commando. I started it several years ago when I had a severe pelvic and tailbone injury and could hardly wear sweat pants. Until I could wear a restrictive pair of pants, like jeans, I didn't like the way my underwear line showed in the sweats. I love the feeling of not being restrained by the underwear and being able to shake things out to let em cool or clear up them wedgies easy. Now starting T and wanting to show somewhat in the pants I have to decide what to wear outside of home. I have been experimenting with a pair of my husband's basic tightie whities and trying to make them into a waistband harness with a simple pouch hanging from it in front for the packie. I tried his briefs alone and the confinement feeling was there and I hate it. Still sewing and experimenting.
Lmao reading all of the replies to this, particularly the first page.
But boxer briefs of course!
mostly boxers
briefs if when I wear gym shorts or a lot of physical activity
99% of the time commando. I hate extra fabric, and I wear low rise jeans mostly. For working out I get the men's running shorts that have the lining in them.
I mostly wear briefs because they keep my junk in place. And they're comfy. I also wear trunks from american eagle, which are similar to boxer briefs.
I used to be a boxer guy because I used to wear really baggy clothing. I find with tighter/fitted clothing wearing boxers is uncomfortable. Right now I wear boxer briefs because I don't like how some of the seams sit on briefs and I wear a harness to hold a packer when I wear it.
I used to go with briefs. Boxers are okay, now, don't get me wrong... but briefs were cozy, holding everything neatly in place.
I don't think I'd ever go commando, though. :P
I think I'm a little dysphoric for commando. I just started wearing boxer briefs. The first week I wasn't so sure and now I really like them. Haven't tried boxers surprisingly (or maybe not).

Commando for sure! I despise underwear so much, at least on me. Plus, I have early onset of ED, so I don't have to worry about hiding anything :). Personally, I think briefs look sexy. They're not just for little boys or old men.
Boxer briefs are my preference but boxers are nice too.
I hate briefs and I've actually never gone commando, it seems uncomfortable.
It's Champion Elite boxer-briefs or nothing for me. If you try them, you will understand.
I'm pretty sure I'm a boxer brief convert from low rise briefs. They're just so freaking comfy. :)
Boxers. Definately.

Nothing beats the feeling of sinking into a pair of clean boxer briefs after a shower...ahhh.

Nothing beats the feeling of sinking into nothing after a shower. ;)
If you're alone in your own house, why should you have to wear clothes?

Said it all! ;D BUT if I am going out I stick with boxer briefs for packing and regular boxers if I'm not packing.

lol
Boxers, ftw I mean where else can you find donald duck and scooby do being silly. Not on briefs that is!
i've always worn boxers even when packing. and i recently tried boxer briefs. and definetly gotta say i still prefer boxers. i just cant handle the tight clingyness around my legs with anything other than boxers. it just feels too resticting.
Boxer briefs. I like the security.
Boxers are nice because they're free and open, but if I am packing they just don't work for me.
I mostly still wear female underwear because as I'm not out to anyone in my village they're going to question it when there's boxers hanging on the line and it's just so much hassle to wash them in the sink and get the dry. If I do wear mens' underwear I prefer my boxer briefs, boxers just tend to ride up for me, probably because I tend to live in jeans unless I'm just slobbing around the house. I feel that going commando is dirty, you change underwear everyday and if you're not wearing any then surely your trousers just become big, long, thick boxers? It makes me more aware of down there somehow and I just about never get bottom dysphoria but going commando I do.
I have packing underwear or boxer briefs for packing. Mostly though, I still have boy shorts and women's underwear. They work fine, are in good shape and I am too cheap to through away perfectly good underpants. Nobody really sees them except me and the husband anyway. The neighbors can see them if they look at my clothes when they are hanging up to dry, but I see their underwear too so its a fair trade. I figure if the 60 something year old guy across the way can hang up his bright red thongs, hanging up my polka dotted panties just shows solidarity. Sometimes a man likes cute underwear.
Briefs
I don't think all the extra material on boxers is comfortable and boxer briefs feel restrictive.

I agree with some others...briefs are for little kids and old men. Plus, boxer briefs look and feel so much comfy (in my opinion of course!)
Only boxers. I started with those and no comfort has matched since. Boxer briefs are my least favourite, I think. All the clinging of briefs plus some. :P
Boxers but mostly I wear sports boxers and use the pouch that's made for a Cup/guard for my Packer :)
