Which do you prefer: Facebook, twitter, etc?
Facebook
I don't have a twitter or tumblr. The only other thing I have is a Myspace.
Facebook its easier to communicate with family
Facebook. Twitter seems silly. "Put my panties now." (as a twit) (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fsmileys.on-my-web.com%2Frepository%2FAnimals%2Fferret-7.gif&hash=9f27f1603b9ef76a5d4bbeedcd1615f680c36e8b)
Haha my friends and I do twitter jokes like "eating yogurt yolo" etc
Everyone uses Facebook
I have a twitter but the last time I was on was when my iPad updated to iOS5 and had the new twitter option lol
I can't stand twitter.
I feel bad for the creators of twitter lol
Hey, hey, hey—I use Twitter.
It has its purpose just as Facebook does (which I also use). I have my Facebook private, which I use to communicate with family and friends. My Twitter account I use to promote myself, primarily as a singer-songwriter, but other things as well. I do not "tweet" my every move, thought, etc—though I will admit I have made some downright useless posts ;D (but as well on Facebook).
But anyway, to answer the question: I use both.
More power to you, girl. But mostly, I think Facebook has more to offer.
I don't know how to use twitter, but I frequently post through facebook. Facebook is nice because I do not need to say how I am getting along when I meet my friends.
Barbie~~
I prefer Twitter, I used to not 'get' it, but during the London riots last year I noticed that the reports of those on Twitter let me know what was going on and where the mobs were a good hour before any official news source.
Since then, I have communicated with experts on eighteenth century history and literature, discovered new bands and generally been better connected to the things I enjoy. It's not a great social tool, but it's a brilliant information one.
Of course the experience of it is defined by who you follow, I mainly follow historians and literature types, and a few jokers.
As for facebook, I forgot my password and can't get a new one sent to my email (because it's an old email) and I haven't missed it at all. Not hearing about Revd Lou's nail polish and Gareth Jones' lunch is not a huge loss.
I'm a facebook kind of guy.
I am out on Facebook and have the connects with my present and past there. I am out on Myspace but its mostly for me and most of my contacts have to do with my interests in music and such which I don't want to inflict on anybody. I inflict my interest on people on Facebook.
Personally I only use Facebook to inbox and post my drawings and writings
I don't even have statuses lol
I never found out how twitter works or whats the point.
facebook is kinda mainstream but its good to keep in contact and get invited to alot of partys and stuff.
so Facebook for me.
I have both, but I don't use either very much.
I once registered for Twitter but didn't figure out how to make use of it.
I only use Facebook.
I have doubts about Facebook, too. But on the other side it is the only way to stay in touch with many of my old friends. I do not want to lose them completely.
Facebook. I think i made a Twitter account once but wasn't entertained by it.
facebook. I have twitter but I don't ever check it. I forgot I have it until now.
Facebook but only because I tend to be ignorant of new tech.
IE
Still rocking a 64 well into the gamecube days and a gamecube when the wii came out etc. I'd still be on myspace if my friends didn't tell me about facebook.
The only console I've got is my sega megadrive/genesis. Still nice to have a few beers and crank open World Cup '91.
Twitter and ->-bleeped-<- here.
I can't bring myself to join Facebook, with all the stories of drama and employers demanding access to Facebook and stuff it's just easier for me to say to friends and family "tough, email or snail mail take your pick" .
Twitter has been very helpful for me, like pica said it's far faster then any other news aggregate out there. Once you get used to how it works Twitter can be a powerful, and sometimes entertaining tool.
->-bleeped-<- is also another service I use that's much like Twitter but far less limited.
^ AH yes ->-bleeped-<-! My favorite! :)
Tumblr has to be my favorite but i like Facebook for school. twitter i don't understand
I like twitter, Facebook is boring now. Tumblr is the best though.
I use Facebook to keep track of my family. :)
Twitter but I always forget it after a while.
I'm more in Tumblr these days.
I use Facebook (no twitter) and Tumblr - though I'm a bit ambivalent about Tumblr... it's interesting in an "experimental" kind of way.
