Title: Sharp pain near stitch area :(
Post by: mintra on June 20, 2012, 10:39:25 PM
I had Srs 5 weeks ago in Thailand and this morning I woke up and found a tiny bump near the stitch on my outer labia. It's really painful when I touch it. It feels like there's some foreign object trying to poke through my skin. I thought it might probably be some undissolved sutures underneath but don't know for sure what it is. There no pain if I left it untouched so i still keep my dilation routine religiously.

Has any of you ladies experienced this? I might call my general doctor here in St. Louis, MO to take a look in a couple of days if the symptom persists.

Hi Mintra,

It does sound like this is a suture working its way out.  I experienced
similar things.

Sounds like an undissolved sutures. Had a couple of those myself. Went away on their own.
