Title: ftm transgender questions regarding T..
Post by: elmo422 on June 25, 2012, 11:14:24 PM
Hi, my name is emily and im going to start the transition. i am getting a lot of usefull and helpfull information with the research i have done but, im a big girl and most of the FTM guys i have seen in videos and such are really thin and lanky so i was just wondering if there are any FTM guys that had Double D's and a big butt.. and pretty curvy. how your guys experience with taking T was, and if its more expensive to get big boobs removed?
thank you to anyone who will reply, it meens the world to me to be confident in my own skin and i want to be educated before i start the proccess. :)
btw, im 5'4" and a half and weigh 144Lb

Um...I don't think that's big (and if 5 foot 4, 144lbs is considered big then I'm massive).

I had a large chest and hips. I think at my biggest my chest was an F cup, my hips measured 48 inches and my waist was 33 or something. I actually run a fat positive trans centered blog/community.
As far as I know surgery probably won't cost more for you vs somebody smaller for the same procedure. You're more likely to get dog earing and need revisions compared to somebody with a smaller chest, but I think that's about it. T for me has been slower than most people but I've seen some chubby guys that had fast results so it's in the genes.

Hi, Elmo, and welcome to Susan's Place.
Please consider posting a short bio on our "Introductions" Board.
Also, please acquaint yourself with the "Terms of Service" found on the "Announcements" board.

Your BMI is 24.7, which is in the normal weight range.  I would not be too worried about your height and weight.

The guys who post here, like Nygeel, will give you good information.

i agree you actually aren't that big at least you have a little bit of height. I'm 5' on the dot and about 170lb so yeah i know I'm a fat mongrel but I'm trying to lose it. i haven't started t yet,i just have to get my t letter from the psychiatrist who i see in a couple weeks so not long now
plus i think most big guys tend to pass a little more easily since we are already pretty broad where as  some of the  skinny guys look like they have the chest of a 200lb body builder but have skinny arms, legs and bodies. sometimes they tend to look oddly proportioned. unless they bind really hard, which isn't a good idea.  so don't worry so much

im pretty curvy and T helped alittle but I manly needed to train to get a V shape, still got big hips, compared to a guy but its way better now.

if its fat then it can get away by training, and T, but if its your hipbones then you should train your upper body and even if you train really hard you migth always has alittle wide hips.

I've noticed that curvier or overweight cismen have more feminine features, which may help you some in passing.
