Title: Is anybody familliar with Integral Emergence?
Post by: Th!nk on June 28, 2012, 11:10:40 PM
A friend just introduced me to this and apparently it's a philosophy of theology that examines all of the world religions, science, etc and attempts to reconcile them into a single belief system, though I'm just learning about it so I could have that entirely wrong.

It was apparently started by a guy named Ken Wilber. I was just wondering if anyone has looked more deeply at it and what you think of it.

I am not familiar with the term or Ken Wilber, but I am familiar with the concept since it is what I try to do in a skeptical, but trying not worry about being crazy way.

That's pretty much the  what the "New age movement" was about. the only problem was that everyone wanted a buck or actually $300 for the lecture, box lunch $12.  Sadly... Enlightenment isn't cheap
