I've been reading posts here as a guest for a couple of months now and decided it was time to join in the fun of the site.
Currently I see myself as genderfluid/mtf.
Hi Marica, :icon_wave:

ummm just a quick question...do you know what marica means in spanish?
Highly offensive term, similar to saying fa**ot in english.
Other than that, welcome!
Alternative spelling of Marika
Marika is a female given name. It has its origin in the Hungarian nickname for Maria, or its Silesian diminutive "Maryjka".
No did not notice that.
Opps now I see what I did. I switched the i and c around ment to type Marcia.

We can change your screen name to "Marcia" if you wish. It is not now in use.
Hi Hon,
Welcome to the gang, you can change your name spelling if you wish.
My geographical knowledge of the USA is poor. Where is Ohio, I sort of associate it with cowboy movies.

Hi Marcia, it's nice to meet you, Buckeye! I live up near Boston. You'll meet lots of new friends here. See you around, hugs, Devlyn
If you could change my name to Marcia that would be great.
4 more posts and you can do it yourself. Unless Devlyn wants to be nice. (for a change). (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fsmileys.on-my-web.com%2Frepository%2FAnimals%2Fferret-9.gif&hash=42bd2ee88d4ddc91007b3b25799f543e9ee358f1)

Your screen name is now "Marcia."
Your log in name remains the same.
Hi Marcia,
Another big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. There is a mountain of information, resources and friendships waiting for you here. What the heck am I telling you about this. You've been here for months and probably already know where Devlyn hides the coffee and where Felix's fluffy towels are.
Don't bother changing your name. It's useless. The GodMother and her bunch of cohorts in SA and Tassie will hunt you down and either brand or flog you. I'm up to my 25th name change, and still they are at the front door   I have to leave the house wearing a fake beard now.
"Fun on the site?" You think being branded for picking your nose is fun? You're as bad as they are   >:-)
Hope you enjoy our mild insanity. Actually insanity ran in our family. Fortunately only to the end of the street and back
Look forward to hearing more about you in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.
Lotsa huggs
Catherine
Thanks Jamie D.
Catherine thanks for the Aussie welcome. I sometimes try to be witty and confuse anyone tries to listen to me without knowing what I'm talking about.

Hey Marcia,
That's awesome. Half the fun most of the time. Just look at Devlyn. Nobody, BUT nobody can understand her, and as for Jamie D, too much Californian sunshine for sure, and let us not forget that Scottish tart in Adelaide. That's a new dimension completely. She can't even understand herself. And of course we already know about me. There are these lovely fashion conscious people chase me through the streets wanting to put this jacket on me but the sleeves tie at the back. What stupid people. :police:
Enjoy your weekend
Lotsa huggs
Catherine
P.S. Sometimes we get serious, but not all too often ;D
From a former Ohioan, welcome to the fun.. Truthfully my heart will always be in Ohio... Best wishes Buckeye!

I'm Irish. Geez, time to get you a white stick to go with the straight jacket

Oh PLEASE forgive me. I'm just soooooooo :embarrassed: I hope you will find the strength to forgive me; you Irish tart. Perhaps another Irish Whiskey will provide that intestinal fortitude for forgiveness.
Huggs
Catherine
Hi Marcia- Whereabouts in Ohio are you? Columbus girl here :)
I live just south of Toledo. Hope the storms missed you they went just south of me here.
Beware of the Irish wrath, Catherine. We, Irish, can turn into Banshees (Bean Sí), when we are angry.
And you would not like us angry ...

Hay, stack it on, I enjoy being needled in a thread! Hugs, Devlyn
Marcia,
We got hit hard here- power still out for like 250k people. I used to live up in Waterville... Is that near you? I'm still up there quite a bit bc my kids and ex-wife live there..
Johnnie
Ms. O'Brien, I'm of Irish descent too, love your banshee graphic. Conan O'Brien has acknowledged the Irish tendency to hold a grudge...he and his friend from Harvard who's a priest call it "Irish Jihad". I use that term to justify my flaw in that area.

Sorry to hear that you are still without power. Last week I was camping in the Mochian area left just before the storms went thru.
Northeast of Waterville. I live like 10 miles south of Toledo. So almost like a suburb of Toledo.

Firstly Ms.OBrien. Congratulations on becoming a VT. Job well done. Must feel good to have that piece of paper. And also I guess to put you hard earned study effort into good use doing those VT type things. I'll see if I can arrange to make an appointment with you. You see my little pet,
Devlyn is not feeling too well. You've no doubt seen her posts lately. Looking a bit pale perhaps! I'm sure you must have a BIG hypodermic needle for her. Fix her up in no time. She'll be back with warm paws and a wet nose in no time thanks to you.
*
Catherine now quickly dispatches herself in search for 4 leaf clovers, as many Leprechauns as she can muster, while kissing the Blarney stone along the way, hoping in all hope to war off the impending Irish wrath. (Anyone for more Irish Whiskey?)*
Would it help if I had a statue of St. Patrick?
Huggs
Catherine
She probably just needs her anal glands expressed. Gets gloves, paper towels and lube
ST. PATRICK! Why would you want a statue of that priest? You should have a statue of Brigit.

Good lawd. Now that you are fully practicing Janet. Maybe I can round up a lot more work for you. And for here alone, you'd be guaranteed years of work. *
Now let me see..... Who do i know in South Australia? .... Hummmm *

When Mother heard I'd turned my back on the church, a never ending supply of statues, holy cards, rosary beads and a ton of other such paraphernalia have never stopped arriving at different intervals. Mother's rear guard approach as per usual. If you'd like some, send me your address and I'll arrange a shipping container or 10 to arrive immediately .
But please do look after my little pet,
Devlyn. She has had so many brandings, or was that Brandy's lately, she must be feeling a bit off. I'd better go before she wakes
Please forgive me if I am wrong, but I believe the proper way to greet someone from Ohio is to say, "O-H".
And the proper way to respond would be I-O :).
But you also got to be careful that they Like Ohio and not the team up north.
We don't discuss TSUN in my family. Glad to have you here.
Where are you in Ohio, Lisa? I tried becoming a Buckeyes fan when I moved to Columbus for grad school, but I just couldn't embrace that intense college football culture. I am a casual fan of the Blue Jackets and Crew, though :)
Hi
I am a daughter of Ohio (born south of Toledo, myself) but live in the Pacific Northwest. Never lost my love for all things scarlet and gray.
Lisa,
Ha! I grew up in the Pacific Northwest but moved out to Columbus for grad school- where are you out there?
