The 9-1-1 call came in Tuesday night: a man told Portland police that two people had attacked him with pepper spray.
But after officers responded to the scene, the caller, 50-year-old Reginald Ferdinand McGhee, was the one who ended up under arrest.

A man who started a fight with two transgender females in Old Town on Tuesday got more than he bargained for.
....
Reginald Ferdinand McGhee, 50, was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on charges of Assault in the Fourth Degree and Intimidation in the First Degree.

As the officers were talking to McGhee, two people walked up to the officers and explained that they were assaulted by him. McGhee then ran from police and was pursued on foot, eventually caught a few blocks away at Northwest Naito Boulevard and Couch Street.
The victims, both transgender females, told police that McGhee approached them as they tried to pass by him on the sidewalk and began yelling ant-gay slurs and profanity at them. He then pulled off his belt and started swinging a large metal buckle at them.Gee, I wonder why he got pepper sprayed then arrested ;)
Goooooo Girls!!!
