Title: Binder help - UK suppliers? Also sizing questions
Post by: Jeatyn on July 04, 2012, 09:19:38 AM
I'm sorry to make a new topic when I'm sure these questions are answered all over the place but I'm seriously pressed for time and have an emergency situation so need answers asap, please forgive me!

I used to have a double front from underworks, it bound lovely but was horribly horribly uncomfortable...sooo I decided to try and modify it to make it shorter and easier to wear. Long story short I ruined it :P

I have a wedding/stag party to go to very soon where nobody is aware of my trans status. So it's imperative my binder doesn't let me down.

I have been looking around lesloveboat and their binders seem very good...but their shipping time is too slow, even if I pay extra for the express shipping there's no guarantee it'll come in time.

Are their any binder sellers based in the UK so I can be sure it arrives in time? Google is bringing me up nothing except a few double fronts on amazon. I don't think I could cope with another double front, not with the ridiculous hot weather we've been having. However if it turns out to be my only choice I'm gonna have to get another double front =/

If any of you happen to have a binder for sale and could get it to me within a couple of days I'd be happy to work something out there as well.

As for the sizing questions, all the binders I find are sized by "chest size" ... where exactly am I supposed to be measuring? My chesticles are quite saggy and uneven now from years of binding so it's hard to see an obvious measuring point. Should I do it with a bra on or not? I get wildly different measurements depending on where I do it.

how about getting the underworks tritop? it does what it says on the tin and it is short so better for warmer weather. i ordered a lesloveboat binder (sports pullover) a month or so ago and it didnt take long to arrive! not as long as they had said, both binders are great and have never let me down

good luck mate
