A safe house for gays in Kenya has been rocked after a staff member was found guilty of 'gross misconduct' for allegedly sexually abusing a transgender resident.

The marshal, who has not been named, was sacked from his post following an investigation by the Gay and Lesbian Coalition of Kenya (GALCK).

GALCK Fires Staff Over Sexual Impropriety As Safe House Is Locked Over Rent Arrears

GALCK has shown the door the safe house marshal after investigations found he was guilty of 'gross misconduct' following reports that he was sexually harassing and abusing a transgender who was in his custody.

In a statement on their website, GALCK said 'the house guest was not in the safe house and was staying at the marshal personal home from Tuesday 26th June until Monday 2nd July 2012 where she would at times partake of house hold chores.'

This resonates with earlier reports in our expose that showed the marshal used to force occupants to clean the safe house and make them as 'slaves.'

Unconfirmed reports reaching Identity Kenya say that a transgender from Kisumu was rescued this afternoon following allegations of sexual harassment from the GALCK safe house marshal.

The safe house marshal, who also doubles up as the Security Officer for the national coalition, is alleged to have made 'consistent' and 'daring' sexual advances to the transgender individual who was rescued from a mob that wanted to lynch her after discovering 'she' was a 'man.'

The transgender was in the news when she went to look for work but was later revealed to be a man. She was rescued by sympathizers who took her to a police station escaping the wrath of the crowd who wanted to lynch her.
