Title: Finding a professional.
Post by: 8ball on July 16, 2012, 02:14:03 PM
I have been taking testosterone for about 9-10 months now and I have finally got my dosage upped. However, my last I scared myself and now I've been struggling to give myself my shot ever since. I've been running out of needles on trying to poke myself but when it gets to that point I immediately break out into a sweat and start shaking uncontrollably. I've always had a fear of needles but now its to the point where I'm getting extremely depressed on not being able to give myself my shot. I've tried calling the clinic my Dr. who prescribed my T works at and asked if I would be able to have a nurse do it for me but she said she would need the Dr. to be on the premises which makes it very inconvenient to do so because she is on travel most of the time and I have to schedule my appointments a month to three months in advance to get an appointment. Does anyone know where I could go to have a professional give me my shot? Or who I could call that would be qualified to do so? At this point even my higher dose isn't enough to motivate me to go through with it..

Call around to doctor's offices.  They may offer to give injections for a fee.  Alternatively you could get a friend to do it.
