Anyone have any links or pics of chest surgery done by Dr. Simon Ceber in Melb. Australia? i can't seem to find any :(
I did a search using the keywords dr. simon ceber and it appears he only does genital surgeries and there were several bad reviews about his results.
Troy
Cheers Troy :) I heard from word of mouth that he did chests, but google showed nothing for me either, thanks for looking :)
He did my son's chest and the results were perfectly satisfactory. I have met a transwoman here who had SRS by him in February as is totally happy with her results. I plan on having SRS by him or his understudy Dr Andrew Ives, at the end of the year.
The stuff on the net is old and appears to be very selective. Nothing is guaranteed in any sort of surgery.
Karen.
When looking around for my surgery I did hear about him. I was told by several guys that his surgeries were good, and gave good results, but that his bedside manner was absolutely shocking.
There are a couple of pictures of his surgeries on the yahoo group 'OzGuys', but you'll have to join before you'll be able to see them. If the bedside manner is a problem for you, there's also Megan Hassall in Sydney, who apparently can be completely covered by health insurance, but who will take a very long time to get in and see (at least six months until initial consult), or Hugh Bartholomeusz in Brisbane, who you can get surgery from in around six months (three months wait time for initial consultation, then three months until surgery), but who charges several thousand dollars over the scheduled fee. Both of these surgeons will do two surgeries for larger-chested guys.
There are pictures from all three of these surgeons on the OzGuys group. Hope that helps. :)
Thanks guys and girls :)
@justmeinoz - my friend had her SRS in January by him ^_^ her new vagina looks awesome :)
Not entirely sure how I feel about having two surgeries :/
Ideally I'd like to go overseas to have my chest done, but I'm moving to VIC in the new year and thought I'd have a gander at ceber.
Surgeries are so hard to decide on :(
@bane I will join that group - thanks for the heads up :)
My mate just had surgery with Dr Ives and had great results. I am having surgery with him in mid December 2012. Definitely worth having an appointment with him to check him out for yourself. He is a lovely man. Really genuine and cares about our community and our outcomes from surgery.
