Title: Hormones in cream format
Post by: NotThereYet on July 26, 2012, 06:29:59 PM
Hi everybody,

My doctor says she is going to prescribe me (as soon as the results of my blood work are back) MTF hormones in cream format, because she says that the cream goes through the skin (transdermal) and therefore won't bother liver, etc.

Does anybody have any experience with Hormones in cream format? I am a bit concerned and I wonder if it is going to be effective...

Thanks in advance to all who will post an answer,
Andrea

I use Synapause, a vaginal hormonecream as nightcreme..I apply it to my face every evening. Works great, (still) no wrinkles, very fine pores.

Hi Joanne and Dahlia,

Thanks you very much for your answers! :-)

@Dahlia: this cream should be for transitioning, i.e. for developing secondary female characteristics, not for pores and/or wrinkles... Since we are at it, though, does your cream help get rid of facial hair? I have read that estrogen cream can help reduce unwanted facial hair.

@Joanne: How long have you been on it? can you see any results? If yes, would you be willing to share? I am very excited about this.

Thanks you both again,
Andrea

You can also convert hormone pills to cream format. Just leave them in a container in your pocket while baking in the summer sun. Just scoop them out with your fingers the next day and there you have it.

It tastes like complete crap.

Hi Andrea,

I don't know if Synapause/topical hormone creme rids facial hair because I've never developed any beardgrowth.

I just use it to keep my skin full and prevent wrinkles and open pores.

There are some studies online about GG's using it to maintain the quality of their skin.
