here's what happened i finally let my friend drag me out to the only openly trans safe bar in town. when we got there i had a feeling i was getting some interested looks, but as the title says i am socially challenged and have no idea how to mingle and relax.all i did was play pool with my friend. i was so tense, the only people i spoke to were my friend, another member of my support group and the owner of the bar (cause i know him ) is there anything i can do?
ps. i was not drinking
just think of it as being any other places and enjoy time with your friends, if they introduce you for someone just great them as any other person, dont get enrvous cause your in a queer place and might or might not meet people who are trans.
I was also nervous first time I got to a transfriendly place, but I guess people always alittle nervous first time they go somewhere new.
