When i was five i begged my dad fore one. He refused in typical male fashion and started a model train layout which i liked too. But i still wanted one so i traded another kid some of my boy toys for his sisters easy bake oven . I relay snookered the poor kid and he got hell for it. I strapped it to the sissy bars on my bike and peddled home.
I got the mixes (chocolate brownies) and started baking. 10 minutes later i dined on my first creation. it was awesome. chewy crunchy edges and a gooey center (because i only used a 60w instead of a 100w bulb). My dad found out and was furious but i never knew why. My mom just said "its not safe to use " and through it out.
So went my first gender tramua. But today im a excelent cook. :D
That's a ride in the Wayback Machine! I remember those tasty treats, my sister had one of those ovens. Cool post, hugs, Devlyn
I remember that also. Knew someone who had one. The cakes were great, too.
